Looks like you weren't the only one thinking that Chrissie I can understand he wants to hang with his new lady after being married, but dayum, if the offer was that good, he can't put a week or two aside and make up for 2002? Bit of a worry. Having said all of that, I'm there if by some miracle this ever happens.
Mmm, if the offer was unbelievable, then how expensive will the tickets be if by chance this comes off? We'll have massive outdoor venues, pricey tickets, but hey, I just want him here again. I don't care where he plays, how much the cost or what he sings... I want Paul back here again and I'm praying that it happens...
Nicely said Moptops it will be such a joy if he returns. I just dont see why if he comes here on holiday with his family he'd want to do concerts.
-
Still can't see it happening especially since he is getting married playing in Australia will be the least of his wants . I have heard similar stories every year for the past 10 years all far out speculation .
-
I know it's probably not going to happen, but it's nice to hear that "talks" are still happening. I would be so, so, so happy if he did tour here this year though.
-
Agreed Moptops - I'll really go for broke if he does happen to make it back!!!!

No news from anywhere? I came across a forum via Google that had a user who seemed to think Paul would be here in February. Hopefully one of these rumours will come through soon
-
...No news mate. All we can do is wait...and hope.
-
If we keep posting on this tread, it might get noticed! Please come to Newcastle this time, we just missed out back in '93.... wow that was nearly 20 years ago. Bring 'On The Run' to Oz
-
After one of his shows at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, I was raving about the show to a mate, and I distinctly recall his saying, "I think he has another tour in him yet..." Paul was 50 then. Wow - if we only knew then that he'd be still doing it (better than ever) at almost 70!!!
-
I'm checking the website everyday for news haha. I read that promoters are hoping to get him here early next year. This was reported a while ago, sorry I can't remember the link (it was during one of my searches scouring the internet for even a sliver of news haha). So nothing new, we hear something like that every 6 months and then nothing comes of it. I'm sure the whole country would go Paul mad if he did come.
-
That's it guys!! We'll keep hanging on!!

So on the Frontier Touring Facebook page they're hyping up a tour announcement that seems to be a veteran rocker which will be announced on Sunday. Wonder what our chances are? People are saying Tom Petty and our Paul Mac are likely. All speculation but interesting. I know in the past Paul was involved with Dainty, but it was mentioned recently that he was in talks with two promoters as I recall. Hopefully I can get to a computer to catch the news as I'll be travelling that day

I have it on good authority a Paul tour of Australia (if it happens) will not be under the auspices of Paul Dainty (DCE). So this is encouraging! I'll cling to any hope!

It's not Paul. I know who it is...

Australia should come to Paul. He's playing 2 shows in Montreal that are nowhere near sold out.

I'd be there in a flash! I heard Montreal is a lovely. I only just saw him in Las Vegas, so I can't get the time off again so soon. If I could have, I'd have been there!

If I could afford it, I would!

That's what credit cards are for! You can pay them off when you're dead
