I want to give the dentist the benefit of the doubt. When you hire guides in a foreign country, you rely on their knowledge and expertise. People tend to believe them when they say something is legal. The guides in this case should be getting most of the bad press. On the other hand, even a mediocre hunter knows the difference between a threatened species and fair game. No one thinks there are too many lions in the world.

But what an odd mix that is. Someone who, by profession, should be dedicated to preserving the quality of life, and yet he lusts for animal kills. Does he even stay in touch with the world and the events of which he wishes to destroy? And you are right. The guides are responsible. The facts need to be sorted without persecution. But then I look at the picture that I am using for my avatar and ask, how important was this kill to him? And why?

Metro newspaper had a photo of Prince Harry with a water buffalo he had shot and killed. The dentist actually did one good thing- exposing a lot more idiots who harm animals purely for "fun".

Ask anyone who has an animal's head mounted on their wall why they have it and they will invariably say it is a beautiful animal. That seems strange to me, but it must make sense to them.

Then they either fear the animal, that they oppose the life of the animal, or find their 'empowerment' as a killer 'beautiful'.

                    Dentists are inherently sadistic.

Same Dentist had a sexual harassment suit against him a while back I'm against trophy hunting. It's no purpose. but I do hate it when animal rights activist let out their sadism in posts about hunters and many have done it on this board (though not in this thread) and have come after me in nasty ways too when I called them out Guess what? Posting his home address. Threatening to burn his house down. You are not the better person. Period. and when it's a female hunter, the sexist comments. the b-word. The c-word. Nobody is calling this dentist the p-word. the sexism is why I left the animal rights movement.

"I don't like you" "I'll get over it"
