Not mine - it is MORE screwed up. After I made a post it used to show it at the bottom as the newest, with older posts above it in chronological order. Now it is all in some screwy order and I have to click 1 day and Newest to make sure my post is there!
ETA: The last post I wrote to W.D. Stevens popped up at the top like they usually do! This site has a poltergeist in it!
Mine is the opposite - I like to go to the last page of a thread to see the newest post, so I prefer "Oldest first"... now for some reason it's always newest first... there must not be a "general setting" for viewing posts, or everyone would see things the same. That is part of the problem, if settings were all the same, where we'd all see things the same, would be a litte easier to help each other figure things out.
Whatever floats your boat, but if you do Newest first, there will probably be only 1 or 2 new posts, so you are nearer to the top and then can easily go back to the same forum or home page since that is at the top. Avoids a lot of scrolling up.

I must say I'm starting to come here less often because using these boards has become such torture. Mayday!!!!

I would think youâd be used to it now. Just come once a day, select 1 day and Newest first for whichever Forum and threads you are interested in. With an iPad it is fast because I just have to tap with my stylus pen. Â I know itâs a pain in the ass, and definitely not as user friendly as the old forum, but I doubt itâs going to change, unfortunately.

Admin: Is anything ever going to get fixed around here? The Search function as well as While You Were Away do not work at all. I have given many feedbacks about this and other problems. It has been almost a month and everything is still the same. Lots of people who used to post donât even come here anymore, probably because they find it too hard to navigate. If Sir Paul knew about this, Iâm sure he would be as disappointed as we are.

I am getting really upset because people are not coming here because they are too frustrated with navigating the site, and apparently The_Fool has left for good! ď¸

There have been a few small improvements. Topics are now listed in chronological order from the date of the last post, rather than just random or from the date of the first post. Did you see the one that was labelled 01/01/1970? Someone is working on it. They obviously have a long way to go, but at least something is happening.

Yes, I noted that the first day! Lol!
After you post, though, for me itâs usually in some screwy order. I have to click 1 day and Newest to see my post and the one(s) before it!

"Newest first" still works only inconsistently for me -- better than a few days ago, but still not working right all the time. And much of the rest of the interface is still just a royal pain in the a**. It's still torture.

So even when you select 1 day or 7 day, then Newest first, it is not showing the newest post at the top? If so, no wonder it is driving you nuts!

It doesn't stay newest first after you have posted. It seems to revert back to oldest first or actually I think it's something else & who knows what it is?

Yeah, I have that problem too. I go and select 1 day, Newest first again to make sure my post is there.

You could just do newest first & save one click. That's what is really ridiculous. So many extra things to do.

Only come here to see if the forum is readable. It isn't so I shall disappear again.
I would like to be able to delete the PMs. I thought when I originally deleted them, they were gone. Obviously there were not.
Now I am back to thinking that Admin has the ability to read PMs which was the major reason I stopped posted here very often some years ago now.

If you do that, then the original post is at the top and I dislike that.

Why do you say the forum is not readable? It just takes a bit of work to navigate. If you came here once a day, you would find it easy as you would just have to select 1 day and Newest first for the forum and then each thread you want to read.
And PMs are deleteable! Just check which one you want to delete, go to the bottom and click on the delete button. It works fine for me. And I donât know about the Admin, but I was assured by Triplets Love Paul that Mods cannot read our PMs.

I frequent two other forums. I don't have to sort anything on those forums. I should not have to here.
The white part of this forum hurts my eyes. I have not found options to change it. The two other forums both have places where the color of the forum can be changed, like this one did before the change.
I tried again to delete Archived PMs. They are all still there. I do not believe the Mods can read the PMs but I tend to think Admin can.

Sorry, I thought you meant current PMs. I havenât tried lately to delete any archived ones.
Have you sent feedback about your concerns using the blue âProvide Feedbackâ button on the right? Make sure you fill out all areas and at the end check the box.
ETA: I just went to Archived PMs and was unable to delete one either. I left feedback.
