I frequent two other forums. I don't have to sort anything on those forums. I should not have to here.
The white part of this forum hurts my eyes. I have not found options to change it. The two other forums both have places where the color of the forum can be changed, like this one did before the change.
I tried again to delete Archived PMs. They are all still there. I do not believe the Mods can read the PMs but I tend to think Admin can.
Sorry, I thought you meant current PMs. I haven’t tried lately to delete any archived ones.
Have you sent feedback about your concerns using the blue “Provide Feedback” button on the right? Make sure you fill out all areas and at the end check the box.
ETA: I just went to Archived PMs and was unable to delete one either. I left feedback.
Yeah, this was mentioned a couple of pages back...but of course, no one has answered.

Just wondering if anyone in authority is actually working on any of the problems & complaints that have been expressed here?

DITTO!

Why does the "Souvenir" section say there are 11 threads there yet none will show up.

I can see them all!

None for me either. Says “No threads yet, be the first!”
Also discovered (and sent feedback about) the fact that if you type in a title for your post, it does not show up once you post! Jimmix was putting dates in the title sections in the thread about “this day in Beatles history” and I kept saying “What year?” I finally realized it wasn’t showing up!

Well maybe if we all were logged in as a "moderator" we'd be able to see them too.

So many bugs so little time.

Hi Calico,
My question is.. if the Souvenir forum isn't visible to us, are the "archived" threads there going to eventually be brought back and made visible again, so everyone can see them?Am asking especially because of the link below, found on the first post of the "Paul McCartney Picture Thread"
As this Paul McCartney Picture thread is now gaining a fair few pages, we have split the earlier pages off. The original thread will remain though within this forum but as a locked archive, so you can still look through it by clicking on the link below: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=86203
When clicking on it, there's an error message now "The requested page /forum/thread/18416 could not be found". If it's not lost somehow, would it be possible to move the above archived link to the Souvenir forum, where everyone can see it? And to make other "archived threads" in Souvenir forum visible? Thanks!

HEY, EVERYBODY OUT THERE! We're pleased to announce we will be relaunching the Maccaboard very soon! We wanted to let you know in advance that the Maccaboard will be unavailable for a short period of time while we give it a tune it up. We've taken all of your posts and messages and brought them into PaulMcCartney.com, both in location and design. Along with the look of the site, we've updated many of the nuts and bolts behind-the-scenes but kept the greatest hits! We'd love to hear your thoughts when it launches. More news coming soon... Baby I'm AMAZED that no one was taken onboard to answer some on these questions.

Today, While You Were Away is working! Yeay!

I'm glad they fixed the post order. Thank you, whoever did it – on the off chance that anyone reads this.
The time stamp still has issues, obviously.
The last post was 9 hours ago. So there's probably something new.
No, it was a month ago. Nothing new here.
Or was it yesterday?
348 posts from 9 hours ago.
Or is it 337 posts, 4 hours ago?
Make that 345 posts, 16 hours ago.
Sometimes there are even more posts if you find a hidden page. I have changed the page number in the URL bar a few times and found another page that was never listed, especially in “Now We Are New”. Change page=10 to page=11, or whatever the latest is, and you might find something extra.

The post above is cutting off the last paragraph, for some reason. At least it is while I look at it right now. After the 30 minutes, who knows what will happen. The last paragraph should read:

Hi all,
A very happy new year to you. We just wanted to drop you a note to say that we are still reading all of your feedback and working on fixes. You may have noticed a new update took place yesterday fixing the following bugs:
- Ability to delete archived messages
- New posts should be immediately visible
- Page numbers added to the top of the posts and threads
- Replies with quotes should show at the bottom of threads, not hidden within a thread
- The 'While You Were Away’ settings have been tweaked so it should show more relevant content
- Option to toggle between UK and US date display
- Spell check should now be working in private messages
We are now working on the next round of bug fixes, so please do keep leaving your feedback in this thread. and thank you for your patience.
All the best!

Thanks for the update! Sorry there's other bugs yet to fix, but I'm sure you've been trying to figure out how things work, just like we have, and sometimes that takes time.

Wanted to ask, why do links not open in a new tab/window? We have to remember to hit the back button, or we X out of the entire website!

The improved "While You Were Away" section is very helpful.
I was wondering why you can't edit your own post without a time limit. Someone posted a bunch of pics (SirSteven) & the famous photoshop box came up for 5 or so pics. Why can't he go back in now & correct them? Here is a link to that page:

Have to make it clickable!
