Memberlist Browsing?

How can I browse the memberlist? It contains over 2000 pages, but you don't seem to be able to jump to a random page, you have to click through them all. Or am I just being stupid?? ops:

Hi Nina, Nice to see you posting! Click on Memberlist. Once there, you will see Select sort method. Found within this drop down menu are your browsing options. Choose your option. Beside the browsing options you will see Order. Select the order you desire, click Sort. http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/memberlist.php If you would like to find a specific member, you may use our Find a username feature found within our private message options. Click on Private Msgs, then click on New Post. There you will see a box that reads Find a username, click on that box. The Find a username feature will now appear. Type as many letters as you wish to find the desired member, type an asterisk, then click Search. Member names will then appear, scroll and choose. http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/search.php?mode=searchuser You may also search for a specific member by utilizing our Search feature. Click on Search, type the username desired in the Search for Author field. You will see Display results as, choose posts. You will see Return first characters of post. Thanks for your reply, triplets ... The first alternative I already tried, but that doesn't solve the fact that you cannot jump between pages of the memberlist, you have to click through from start or finish. The other two alternativs I have now checked out, and I suppose they present a solution. But they are both a bit complicated - it would be so much easier being able to jump between pages, as you can on most websites. Well well, not a big problem. I was a Pioneer member, although not very active. I will now try to get familiar with the new site, and find my friends again .... Have a lovely Sunday evening!!

If you are trying to reconnect with Friends lost when the main site was modified remember that not all new registrations to the main site shared user-names in common to both sites However a commitment has been given to restore the social media aspects of the main site restoring the Friends, Walls and messaging originally provided. From a glitch seen in the development/restoration of that facility we know they are indeed trying to return that facility with the Friends originally connected to accounts still in place. If that development is successful you should not need to do anything to be reconnected other than wait for that facility to be relaunched. How long is another matter...... Martin

You're welcome, Nina! I agree, it would be wonderful to be able to navigate directly to a given page number. I have always hoped this feature would be made available to sort through individual threads as well. Perhaps in the future... Hopefully it will not be much longer before the friends features are restored at the main site. Hope you have a lovely evening as well!
