Amazing show. Paul was incredible, sounded great, really great set. Then the Nirvana guys came and the encores became something unexpected and totally wonderful. Cut Me Some Slack was fun and sounded great. You can tell Paul really enjoys playing it and playing with these guys. Then he asked them to stay for more. Get Back. Long Tall Sally (which was f-in incredible), Helter Skelter (AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING... Grohl was having the best time). and then they came back up during The End. It was an electric way to end. It was so great that it totally made up for the stupid sh-- that Safeco did by requiring wrist bands for floor seats and two places only in the whole stadium to get the bands. I spent 30 minutes in line for that which was ridiculous. Only drawback to the set... I was really looking forward to Hi Hi Hi, which was skipped due to the "Sirvana" set (not my term, can't claim it). But I think I got a pretty darn good substitute. Really just an incredible night. My six year old started getting sleepy during Helter Skelter but otherwise she was totally into it and had a great time too. Paul did not acknowledge our sign that said "Ram On Please?". Oh well... next time!

Bet Long Tall Sally sounded awesome and rocked the house!! So Hi Hi Hi was left out then?

Yep, no Hi Hi Hi

So the Nirvana guys augmented Paul's band after Cut Me Some Slack or did they in fact substitute for them? Get Back, Skelter, Golden Slumbers etc...

Yeah! The Nirvana guys all played on "Helter Skelter," "Get Back," "The End" and "Long Tall Sally" (!!!!!!!) I'm still floored that they did "Long Tall Sally"!!!! As for the show: it was the best Paul McCartney concert I've ever been to. Hands. Down. Paul's voice was in excellent form, band was energetic and were having boatloads of fun! When I go to another Paul show, it's going to be hard to top this one!

Apparently all together (now). Would have loved to see them tackle it as the Sirvana configuration. Nothing against Our Band of course ;).

My friend and I who were at tonight's show were completely gobsmacked! We just couldn't believe they busted out "Long Tall Sally"! First time Paul has played it live since '86 at the Prince's Trust concert, I think!

Wow, this show sounds absolutely thrilling!! And it sounds like Paul was loving every minute of it, too. Cool.

LONG TALL SALLY !!!! OMG, I would have died & gone to heaven !!

Congrats Seattle! I considered going to this one because I have friends and family there, but decided not to for various reasons. Bad decision! Paul has such fun doing Cut Me Some Slack, and Long Tall Sally--what a surprise, just wow! All Macca shows are special but you guys got special+1.

Thank you! Too bad they dropped Hi Hi Hi though. I guess that would have been too much for fans.
