What time are most getting to the show? I am hoping to get there by 7:30 at the latest. Fingers crossed that traffic isn't five times worse than I'm expecting.
I know this area really well from attending Mariners/Seahawks Games. You're going to be in traffic hell if you wait until 7:30pm. I'm going down at 4:30pm but that's because I'm tailgating. I wouldn't get there any later 6pm to get in line for the gate's opening at 6:30pm.
I have to wait for a babysitter for my youngest so I can't leave my house any earlier than 5:45. Usually takes me 25 minutes to get there with no traffic. I would LOVE to get there earlier but it is not meant to be.
Don't sweat it. Paul will probably start late anyway. Where are you parking?
Cool, thanks. My husband works a block away from Safeco so I drove him in and hope to take his monthly parking spot right by the park I think on Colorado or Utah. Crossing fingers that it doesn't fill up before I get there. If I can't I'll do the Safeco parking and pay way too much. I have a six year old so I am not going to drag her a mile Where are you parking?
I already purchased parking in the Safeco Field lot from an email they sent me saying they had a limited amount of parking left. I'm going to hang out at Pyramid Brewery with friends all afternoon. I'm heading down there at 4:30pm. I'm lucky I live in West Seattle. A short ride to the Ballpark. Have Fun!

How about a guest appearance by the three former members of Nirvana? I'm sure the crowd in Seattle would love that.
That's my post from April 12, on page 2 of this thread. I still believe it will come true, especially now that we have pictures of the 3 former members of Nirvana in Seattle: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=84768&start=3974 I wish I could be there. Enjoy the show, everyone!

I'm in Ballard, so not too far at all as well. Have a great time!

I did hear the band soundchecking Cut Me Some Slack in Indy AFTER they had kicked us soundcheckers out. So seems that Seattle is in for a treat tonight! Seeing that song was my favorite part of the 12-12-12 concert.

About to head to Safeco in a few. If something Earth-shattering happens during the concert (for example, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic making an appearance), I'll try and post an update on here. Otherwise, I'll post some pics and share my thoughts after the concert! Can't wait!

Sooooo????????????????? How was it? Any reports? Any surprises in the set list? I am surprised no one who went has posted yet!
-
Grohl, Novoselic and Smear played on Cut Me Some Slack, Get Back, Long Tall Sally, Helter Skelter and The End. Long. Tall. Sally.
-
I thought there was a chance the Nirvana guys would turn up to do Cut Me Some Slack, but Long Tall Sally floored me. This was definitely the best show I've been to.

Just got home. Nirvana was amazing with Paul! Grohl switched between playing drums and guitar. He shared the microphone with Paul. It was very special and it didn't seem to me that a smile ever left Macca's face. He loved Seattle. This was best McCartney show I've seen!

Just posted my video of Cut Me Some Clack unfortunately didn't get Long Tall Sally phone was full..

OMG!!! Best concert hands down! I'm hoarse from screaming constantly. When the guys from Nirvana showed up the crowd went NUTS!! Sang Helter Skelter with these guys.....OFF the chain! I'm wiped out. Will post pics tomorrow.

Sensational work and a HUGE thanks, not just to post it so quickly, but to have the courtesy to tell us. You are awesome!
