Elvis Presley

Me, too. BTW: Are you guys familiar with Shawn Klush? He's a world-known ETA. He's the most spot-on ETA out there (although Doug Church sounds more like Elvis than ELVIS sometimes!). I hear from some fans, though, that the Elvis mentality has really gone to his head...he's starting to believe that he IS Elvis now.
well, that's the ultimate tribute... But Shawn Klush is the 70s Elvis not the greatest, young Elvis

JordanOnTheRun:
Big Elvis in Las Vegas (was at Bills Gambling hall but now in Harrah's) is my favourite ETA. If you're ever there go see the show. It's free and fun. Seen him about 5 times now.
This guy? (he sits the whole show???)
The guy's got a heckuva voice, though. -
Not sure if you guys are aware of Prince From Another Planet: 40th Anniversary Edition (2 CDs/1 DVD), which is recently discovered, decent-quality film of Elvis' 1972 concerts in New York City . The film was shot by a fan who'd not only managed to get his camera by Madison Square Garden's security -- but a tripod, as well! Fans are going nuts over this footage -- as it has long been a complaint that the shows were not officially filmed -- despite the fact that Elvis had recently been filming a concert-documentary! Here's Elvis' best friend, Jerry Schilling, promoting the project on CBS This Morning. The film has been synced with RCA Records' official, audio recordings:
And here's more of the actual footage: ELVIS POLK SALAD ANNIE (New Madison Square Garden Footage): ELVIS HOUND DOG [New Madison Square Garden Footage]: Elvis Presley - That's All Right - Prince From Another Planet 1972: It was Elvis' '72 NYC shows that George Harrison attended, which he'd discussed in The Beatles Anthology bonus footage. -

The guy's got a heckuva voice, though. That's the fella. Yeah he sits the whole show, he's a big guy he does 3 shows a day, 4 days a week. He even asks people to call out songs and he'll sing it, lyrics all off the top of his head, some of them aren't even Elvis songs, he'll still do them.

what do you think? I think he might as well be alive. there is many evidence. Besides, his OWN COUSIN said that he didnt believe he was dead. And one of his close friends (Joey? joseph?) said once in an interview that he found him in the bed. In a newer interview, he said that he found him in the bathroom... Which one is true?

And this report disproves that Elvis died merely of a heart attack. He died of polypharmacy:

It's clearly audible, towards the end of the actual song (before the 9 zillion na na na's!) Play it with earbuds in on your computer. It's here at 2:59
"Remember, to let her under your skin (fu*kin' hell) then you begin to make it better" -
I noticed the "oh!..." and a mumbling after that. Funny...all these years, had no idea.

I heard it in 1968 at age 13, but didn't know what he said until about 5 years ago!
