A Big Thank You From PaulMcCartney.com

I am really disappointed about the Juke Box, too. I listened to it all the time. I hate to see the Premium Membership go. I love the T-shirt and the lithograph. For some reason, I also did not get the emails about the site or the presales. ( Fortunately, though, I was able to purchase the presale tix anyway since I am on the message board all the time! See you in St. Louis!

Re. lack of communication: quite right. They have the cheek to remove, without warning, all the stuff that people have paid for, and then send an email saying that it's all been done for us, and what else do we want to see. OK - I want to see all the stuff that you have removed put back, and all the stuff that you promised was going to happen but then didn't deliver finally added, and I'd like all of this to be done properly so it works reliably on all platforms. I don't mind an extended Beta phase while you sort it out. What I don't want is to pay for something, then not get it (or get it in a half-arsed way before having it taken away without warning), and I especially don't want to be fobbed off with a free download of something that will no doubt be up on YouTube next week, or a crappy t-shirt, or whatever other "goodies" you have in mind to "compensate" for this shambles.

I really enjoyed the site as it was. I did like the Premium Membership, it made you feel special. I think they should reconsider, judging by all of the feedback.

[: My pc was infected from your website years ago, that matter is very important for me consider that too. thank you your staff is very creative , congratulations ">improvements are good but make easier to consult the topics(news, tours, etc) Since you modified the website pm.com for me it has been more difficult to visit it. : My pc was infected from your website years ago, that matter is very important for me consider that too. thank you your staff is very creative , congratulations ](improvements are good but make easier to consult the topics(news, tours, etc) Since you modified the website pm.com for me it has been more difficult to visit it. <img src=)

Two comments/questions... I had the same (unanswered) complaint as that quoted below:
ktbCA57:
I am also sad to learn you are removing the premium aspect... In addition, are you continuing to provide and improving the way the special codes will be distributed for ticket sales? the last 2 times, I didn't get the code until AFTER the sale started... so everything was gone by the time i got there to purchase.
My email was sent to MPL with copies of date/time-noted emails received...but I never heard (nor really expected) a response.
Hello! I've looked all over the website for a contact address, but have been unable to find one, and thought perhaps you might be able to help me. I also wanted to share my experience with you in case you might be interested. I am a 'Pioneer' member of the Paul McCartney website. I was one of the first 1,000 people to join and was under the impression that, as stated, that would enable me to have special privileges: What is a Pioneer Membership? The first 1000 people to sign up for Premium Membership will be given Pioneer status. Pioneers will have special privileges. I purchased my membership thinking it might help me to purchase concert tickets without having to resort to a re-seller, as is almost always the case. Today I received an email from the website saying I would be able to purchase tickets in a fan club pre-sale starting at 9 am. The email was sent to me at 11:13, over two hours after the pre-sale had begun (see email below). When I tried to purchase tickets, none of the floor seats were available (as would be expected following a two hour window). I will happily write to Crowd Surge to make a comment and/or complaint...but they will no doubt file it away without any meaningful response. I'm contacting you because, as an original fan club member through Club Sandwich, and now a 'Pioneer' in the website, I'm just sad and frustrated that I am unable to purchase tickets as a fan despite following all the rules. Perhaps you can find out why fan club members might've been notified after the fact? Thanks very much for your time,
As stated above...I am (according to my Paul McCartney Premium Membership receipt): Fan ID: 35336258 Expiration: Lifetime Membership I really was THRILLED to be one of the first 1,000 members and named a 'Pioneer'...though (again...as stated/quoted above)...didn't receive the codes I had anticipated when purchasing membership until hours after the sale/re-sale by online scalpers had already started. That's the first time I've ever been a 'pioneer' anything...and believe me...I had my fingers crossed I might finally get just one pair of those good seats I'd dreamed of for decades. Still, I did get a nice (though damaged) photo of Paul in concert...a t-shirt...and some stickers...so thought it was WELL WORTH the cost for my LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP. Now what? I thought I had years to hope the code thing would eventually get straightened out, and like my luck at joining in time to be one of the fortunate few with a special 'status'...figured my time would come. Guess a 'lifetime' isn't what it used to be. BTW...I've made some nice friends on Twitter...they've all been Macca fans for years...and we came to a sort of consensus some time ago. "If you can't sing a few lines from 'Mamunia'...you shouldn't be allowed within the first ten rows." The best fans in the world deserve better than this. Thanks very much for listening.

As Condorito (one comics caracter, here in Chile) said : I demand one explanation ! At last, we should receive one warning before they take this desition. If the proyect don't work is ok, but the rules of courtesy says that you must send one comunication before...I don't understand why????

why couldn't they leave us our own page (with friends & playlists...and emails) ??? That was not premium. And the jukebox?

I feel ripped off by Paul McCartney for the $60 I paid for a t-shirt that didn't fit. I already had the download and I don't care for Kisses. Maybe I can get a message to Paul at the sound check in St. Louis.
-
I joined in May (the Premium membership) and I feel that a tshirt that does not fit, a picture of Paul and a download of a CD I already had does not equate $60. I didnt mind about the stuff, because I thought I was paying for access to extra Macca information, presales etc. I DO NOT want a "free download" of the Kisses on the Bottom film, because (like most here) I already have it, sitting on my DVR, for free. What did I get for my money? Six months--not even a whole year--of membership. I think that is what is really annoying me--there were promises and we bought into this, as we trusted Paul's people would deliver. And they didn't. Oh how I miss Linda and how she ran Club Sandwich...

Im following your action. Many Thanks.. Oezden Aynali. (LUKAS)

Yep...I said that somewhere...do a sign that says something to that effect. Go back to the old HP site We don't like the new site I wanna be a premium member 4 U

Not impressed with the changes so far; I hope there are more to come that will fulfill the hype in the broadcast message. I have not figured out how to get it to work in Firefox, so I have to use a separate browser for this site. That's a bit annoying. And, like many others, I'm not happy that I've apparently lost the advantages of premium membership.

I just became a Premium Member (and paid my $60.50) on Oct.13, 2012. I haven't even received my poster, etc. yet. I would like to request that pm.com keeps the package and refund my money. Two weeks access is not worth $60.00. Why were they even taking new memberships at that late date? They had to have known that they were doing away with Premium Memberships. Not cool.

I'm very confuse , this morning I tried to get into the main site and I couldn't found the way, then I come in to this place and start one thread for to know what happend, just now I read my e-mails and found "the mail", I think it was better if you put the message in the same page. Well, I was almost a year in the old way, been a pioneer and I must say I feel it was a good experience, I defended the site when someone said is not good...and now, to be honest, I don't know...but Hell!! I love you Paul...and if you put your site in the midle of the ocean I'll follow you

A big 'thank you from paulmccartney.com", more like a big "**** you"...!! Ah, the excitement of the new site a year ago - watching the promo videos of all the work with HP - lots of exciting content promised - would be building up - expectations of seeing rare photos, seeing rare videos, hearing rare songs, whole collection being digitized so loads of stuff to share with the fans... I happily paid the premium membership - and quickly - as I wanted to be a pioneer member - a lifetime title apparently - got my pack of unimpressive t-shirt, choice of free download of albums I already had (being a fan I have them!!!), promise of extended membership without extra charge as the site was in beta. Kept regularly checking the premium members area - after a while I gave up as there was rarely anything new on there - maybe HP hadn't bothered doing their job or maybe it was too much trouble sharing with us... Obviously any pre-sales were irrelevant to me - Paul only seems to play shows everywhere else except the UK now - if only I was in America eh?! This is all after the disappointments of the re-releases so far - very expensive -again, especially if you're in the UK - check the price differences - do a currency conversion like I did and look in horror at how the British fans are charged more. Even when I did buy them, you'd be lucky to get one or two rarities - maybe when a rarities box set is done at the end of the re-release schedule..which by my reckoning will be 2038! Or super super deluxe versions so I can buy "Band on the run" for the fifth time! So much has been discussed/mentioned/promised and so little has been delivered. Can't tell you how much I am wholly 1000% unimpressed and ashamed by how utterly amateur the whole website has been run..especially for an artist of Paul's stature. Once again, I have wasted money and time..but that's o.k - because the website has sent me an e-mail to say thank you for wasting my time and my money which makes it all fine then. What's the point..? Nothing will get done, nothing will change! Like they're really going to read through these replies and respond to feedback or make changes or alterations. Clearly the website was designed on the cheap by a couple of cleaners who work at HP rather than professionals who do it for a living... Rant over.

Hi, Just having a thigh slap, last year when i paid top coin to become a premium member of PaulMcCartney.com, with all sorts of promises of treats ahead, and was made a foundation member, SO many fans said i was a sucker for paying. After todays email informing me of the cancellation of the premium memberships .. yup, my friends were right, i, along with many other fans who handed over our cash were suckers ) Good one Macca, nobody drops the ball like you wink Greg.
-
What i'm so dissapointed with the decision making made by Paul's staff. When I read the email I thought it meant it was out of Beta mode and wanted to reward it's existing premium members. Not a whole new shitty format. If we can get back our accounts, Jukebox, and dedications I will be satisfied. I had a dedication on a particular song that was very significant to me. I feel taken advantage of. I didn't even get 6 months out of my membership. I say we start a petition
