What Concerts are you going to this year?
-
I'm old. I will be seeing Bobby Vee, who used to travel with the Beatles in the early days on those shows with many acts.
-
I went to the Pet Shop Boys concert last September 29, and I got my tickets to see Coldplay in the Estadio Univeritario, Monterrey, Mexico. (March 11, 2010) .... the end of the tour...

Morrissey in Liverpool in less than a month.
Hope you enjoy it ...should be a good 'un Its very rare i go to concerts in Liverpool.....it isnt as handy as Manchester with the trains : I would end up staying overnight ....and i am tight
I've never been to Liverpool before so I'm quite excited. I'm staying over for 2 nights. I can't really afford to go but as I missed seeing Morrissey back in May on his birthday, I'm not going to miss this one as well.
Great city, and you can kill two birds with one stone and see the beatle places. Should be a good couple of days.
Yes, Magical Mystery Tour and The Beatles Story Although I've heard The Beatles Story is quite a long one but I don't mind, I'm sure it'll be great.
-
kinda dissapointed last night,we had gone to see Hypocrisy last night but they told us that they had to drop out of the tour because they couldn't get their visas approved : Hypocrisy
i really wanted to see them live again but we did get to see Blackgaurd and Ensiferum the headliner and they did put on a good show (note: i didn't film these vids) -
We've seen a lot of memorable concerts this year including Franz Ferdinand, Manic Street Preachers, and Pearl Jam. Last, but definitely not least, will be Brian Setzer's Christmas show.

And the arctic monkeys Everybodys coming at once
.........and another....i need some overtime I thought this would be a nice change One of the best guitarists of his generation,,, The GRAHAM COXON power accoustic ensemble at the royal academy of music Manchester ft robin Hitchcock ( who i have heard of, but know nothing about.
I am in the middle of a very busy time for concerts ..... I have also got a ticket for the XFM winter wonderland concert in Manchester I like everyone on the bill The Cribs, Liam Fray (The Courteeners) , Echo & The Bunnymen , Frank Turner (acoustic), Delphic and Liam Frost. That will be the 6th time this year i have seen Liam Frost Oh and super furry animals are supporting Doves when i go VFM
-
I have no tickets for next year....HOWEVER next time i go to the academy in Manchester i am going to get tickets to see these two ( save on postage and booking fee you see ) IMELDA MAY Looked excellent on later , and brought out a excellent lp
Bit of a looker too FRANK TURNER Real musicians ......x factor hang your head in shame -
It took me several hours but I finally got my complete list of the gigs and artists that I saw in 2009. Some on the list are not musicians, they were either on the bill as emcees or presenters or stand up comedians or whatever they were on the bill. I count a different venue as a different gig, even if it was on the same calender day. I also count ever different day at festivals like bonnaroo and Rothbury as a different day of gigs. Based on the above I saw 81 gigs and 266 artists in 2009. Peace, Tim 2009 Concerts: 1. Casino Rama SAT JAN 3 Orillia, ON 1-Temptations 2-The Four Tops 2. just found out that the slayer, megadeth and testament shows has been canceled and postponed due to Tom Arayas back surgery : BACK SURGERY SCHEDULED FOR SLAYER'S TOM ARAYA, BAND'S TOUR PLANS CANCELLED THROUGH APRIL "Tom gave various medical treatments more than a fair shot," said Slayer's manager Rick Sales, "but they just haven't handled the problem, so he's biting the bullet and is scheduled for back surgery at the end of this month." This difficult decision made by the band's bassist/vocalist Tom Araya means the cancellation of Slayer's immediate tour plans that include the American and Canadian Carnage Tour dates that were set to kick off on January 18, as well as the band's UK/European headline tour scheduled for March and April. Booking agents for both Slayer and Megadeth are already hard at work rescheduling the tour dates; tickets already purchased for these shows will be honored at the rescheduled dates. The headbanging Araya, known for aggressively swinging his long mane of hair while performing, began experiencing back problems while on the band's Australian/New Zealand/Japanese tour last October. In spite of his rapidly increasing pain and discomfort, he carried on with the tour, but immediately upon returning home saw an orthopedic specialist who diagnosed a Cervical Radiculopathy. The rocker initially did not want to take the major surgery route, so the specialist recommended a series of minimally-invasive procedures. While those procedures have resulted in some improvement, Araya continues to deal with intermittent bouts of severe pain, numbness and muscle spasms. The surgical procedure that Araya will undergo, called an Anterior Cervical Discectomy with Fusion, is a relatively routine practice and the recovery rate is excellent. Sales added, "As unfortunate as this is for so many people - the Megadeth and Testament camps, the concerts' promoters, and, of course, the fans - Tom's health is the number one priority, and this has to happen." http://www.slayer.net/us/news/back-surgery-scheduled-slayers-tom-araya-bands-tour-plans-cancelled-through-april this sucks
