      Scott McKenzie (73) died today. Of course most famous for his classic "San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair)" from 1967:

      He also co-wrote the Beach Boys-classic "Kokomo".

        I saw that on Facebook yesterday. I didn't realize he'd co-written "Kokomo," though. Interesting factoid.

            He really romanticized "The Summer of Love," in reality a lot of what went on was quite overly hedonistic and disgusting. Been reading "Pearl" a Janis Joplin biography and feel quite disgusted, even nauseated, I must have become a Puritan or something
