Here&Everywhere:
So, you are going to be doing We are the Champions then? How's things in the Supernova?
well, my Pc has been repaired so I haven't been able to do a thing about that... only playing again the Stratocaster, I need to get used to it again... Still a bit shocked because of the Meat Free Monday thing, but well... as I said to Stefan about Nino... "it had to happen sooner or later"... I better believe it... Isn't it ironic? you get some of your recordings, you send it to several people and contests and you don't get any answer... Then Paul McCartney requests for some songs, you send it and they like it a lot. I guessed it should be much harder in a "Paul McCartney global thing" than in a "local radio thing"... especially because of the level of the other people... but, well, it's not like that... Yes, back to We Are The Champions, and then who knows? love these lyrics, it's Paul's All You Need Is Love

Hello everyone... where is everyone? well... My pc has been re-re-re-repaired... I've been trying to learn a bit about playing the guitar... now for Denise Milani fans (at least we're two here :wink... It seems she lost control of "her" website and someone posted pics without her approval... and the thing she didn't like the most is all the new pics were "sexual". As they took thousand of pics of her, they just had to choose some... Now she's on a lawsuit about all this. You know, the most famous model on the internet, and never posed topless. I don't know if she will ever join Meat Free Monday but hey, I've tried. http://www.denisemilani.es/images/phocagallery/Terraza/thumbs/phoca_thumb_l_05.jpg

I am the other fan of hers. How can someone be so cruel and post sexual photos of her??? No wonder she is going to sue!
-
yo people, please keep on voting for nino; you can vote once a week til the end of august... http://www.amadeusawards.at/voting it`s "important"

that reminds me of when I saw Veronika Zemanova's My Space... she complained that myspace deleted many pics because they considered them "sexual content" but she insisted that they were the same kind of pics not deleted in other women profiles... And I said that what happened is that most of her pics are meant to be seen as sexual no matter what she's doing... The Denise's pic above is not "sexual" at all... but "The girl can't help it" The judgement can be surreal... It seems she received a 2000 $ per month salary (She's not rich at all...) for her website, that was run by some company. She wants to do all kinds of modeling but lately they just showed the "provocative" stuff. In her facebook or myspace, most of the pics are not provocative at all... (or not meant to be, you know... ). Now Denise doesn't have the salary and doesn't even appear in www.denisemilani.com, but hey!, like I say, she's most famous model in the internet (and maybe in the world), so I guess she can make it in a different way now... It's kind of surreal that she gets so much attention and she doesn't get any money... She can make another website... but she needs to appear in some big media to advertise it. An interview in the Jay Leno show... no!... in the Letterman show. (or in the playboy magazine or wherever... do we want her to retire???)

hey stefan, I know you don't like "80's production"... I know little bout production, so what's what you don't like? or what do you miss?

hey stefan, I know you don't like "80's production"... I know little bout production, so what's what you don't like? or what do you miss?
in general? I can`t say... there`s lots of 80s music I like (in fact the 80s are one of my favourite decades in pop history); but I think I know what you mean by "80s sound"... and the question is the answer. the "80-sound" sounds like the 80s, which means it sounds dated; for the 80s that`s ok, but for productions of now trying to sound like that is ridicilous in most cases, I think. I like natural sounds, or let`s say "naturalistic" sounds; i like things to sound timeles yet fresh and spontaneous (another thing is: I like things to sound - at least a bit - like the place they are coming from...); if someone simply reconstructs something that`s been before (a.k.a. retro) without adding some new ideas, without telling us who, where and when he/she is, well, then I don`t see the whole f.u.c.k.i.n.g. point; pop should be about ideas, about energy and it should be about now. Good pop does just that, it is NOW, it lives, so to speak, plus it contains the best parts of the past and gives you an idea what the future might sound like... I don`t know if that makes any sense BTW.: right now i`m listening to the "the queen is dead" album of the smiths, go figure

well, I think the sound of something should be independent of when it was recorded... it's like now every single seems to have the keyboards of Lady Gaga or so... or so many similar to Amy Winehouse after she became famous... It's just the oppossite of what the Beatles did they did a hit single and a hit album and then most of the bands tried to do that and they run away from that... But I mean the arrangements, not the sound... maybe we are talking about the same thing... I prefer the thing to be timeless (if possible :lol, not at all a copy of what is "working well" now... or then. And the only way I know of doing that is... a great melody. Just look at Mozart's stuff... I like some retro, so retro that one can sound like Mozart but with a... "something more" thing... I mean, I like string quartets but anything can sound with them. I think Beck ("loser"'s Beck said, "I want to be part of my time, but not fruit of my time") sum it all for me. D'you know some thing it can be wrong with me? I think sometimes I don't want nothing to sound like what is commercial today... and I guess that's a mistake, that should be a part of it too. I sometimes see it like "the dark side of the force" , something to be avoided. I don't know.. if you ask me if I like "I got a feeling" from the Black Eyed Peas, then I say yes... it's not best song ever but it's good. But if you ask me if I like "Boom Boom Pow" I say no. Still I think like the "I got a feeling" sound is something I don't like... But I like Living On My Own remix, for instance...
and of course I like Tomorrow Never Knows... so I think I don't make much sense -
SusyLuvsPaul:
i dreamed i was scarlett johanssen and i'd lost my pocketbook and was absolutely frantic...that same old lost my bag nightmare, with a big twist, i suddenly was or looked like scarlett. must be 'cause i kept watching my 'vicky cristina barcelona' dvd--i love that flick. also loved scarlett in woody allen's 'scoop' ('vicky cristina' is a woody allen film, too). i realized scarlett's one of my favorite actors. i adore javier bardem in the vicky cristina movie. those evil old coen brothers had tried to ruin javier for me in 'no country for old men' (i didn't see that, man i can't watch stuff like that) svenn when i saw the tony awards on t.v. i realized scarlett is in 'after the fall' by arthur miller, on broadway. you could have seen her in person if you came over and caught that play. those jealous b**tard didn't nominate her for a tony
That sounds like a nice dream. Scarlett Johansson on Broadway?? I didn't know that. So when is she in that play?
-
high, svenn later i found out scarlett DID win a tony, in the t.v. show's first hour which i didn't see. i don't know if the play is still on broadway. you could find out online. 'after the fall' by arthur miller

well, for the Denise Milani fans here... I mean, fan... well if she's the most popular woman on the web (and 3rd woman, I think...), there's got to be more than us... too hot (and too big) to be posted http://www.bannedinhollywood.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/blue_thong_07_denise_milani_interview_banned_in_hollywood.jpg

this guy doesn't stop recording things: Paul McCartney and Elvis Presley impression by Stevie Riks (MrSTEVIERIKS) "I was the one"
Elvis Presley and John Lennon LIVE!! -
well, it's been so long, I thought about it for a second, why not? in the very tradition of "Impossible Duets" (spontaneous, impromptu, fun...)
I'm untrained so I couldn't sing the high Gs (I left that for Adam :wink, or maybe I just run out of air for doing kind of high harmonies to him. -
New album from Scarlett Johansson, "The Break Up" a duets album with Pete Yorn
live -
Thanks, Oliver. Nice song!

so many biopics about Marylin and Scarlett not playing her yet btw Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, Ali G) is gonna play.... FREDDIE MERCURY! in a biopic to be filmed now. I hope he won't do kind of a parody like Austrofred.
