Wow! It found the average bra size in Liverpool - home to curvy beauties like Page 3 girl Katie Downes - is a very "plentiful" 34E.
I think I need to go to Liverpool soon.

Well, I was in the Elton's concert this Tuesday. One great surprise was when, in Saturday's Night Allright for Fighting, security encouraged people to go up to the stage . So kind of 25 people were there around Elton's piano... I think one tried to play with him (hey It wasn't me, I was not some of the people on stage), but that was too much. this is the same but not in Barcelona, and with people not so close to Elton, here we just couldn't see Elton (and I was only one metre away from the stage, 10 metres away from Elton)
you could buy a CD of the concert at the exit. The setlist was kind of this, 120 minutes show. and I still prefer Elton when he's alone with the piano, not with the band. Like in his version of Nikita. Setlist (they played like 20 seconds of Funeral For A Friend, and I was surprised they were going to do the 11 minute song... they didn't) Bennie and the Jets Philadelphia Freedom Daniel Believe Rocket Man (extra-long version as usual) I guess that's why they call it the blues Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Nikita Tiny Dancer Someone saved my life tonight Don't let the sun go down on me Sorry Seems to be the hardest word Candle in the wind Pinball Wizard The Bitch is back (video starring Pamela Anderson at the screens...) I'm Still Standing Saturday Night's Allright's For Fighting Your Song yes, rockers at the end, and ballads at the beginning.. I don't understand it... he has some many great songs, that he could do another great setlist with totally different songs... something like... Crocodile Rock Levon Don't go breaking my heart The one Sad Songs 60 years on Jamaica Jerk-off Live like horses The way you look tonight This train don't stop there anymore I want love Original Sin Sacrifice Made In England Written in the stars Harmony Hakuna Batata ( ) Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding Can you feel the love tonight? -
Not bad. Had you seen him before? I went in 2005 and it was a great show; he played 'Funeral for a friend/ love lies bleeding' and that was my highlight especially as it was my favourite song of his at that time. He didn't do 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' that night though; I would have loved to have seen that one.

I'm gonna see a Beatle live later this year!! Yeah seeing Paul for the first time. A few years ago I would have been super excited already, and I am but in reality it's gonna set in slowly as December approaches.. That and I have just been so busy with work and personal stuff for it to really sink in. But yeah really should be great. Haven't been to the O2 for a gig yet so it surely is a good way to start.

Welcome to the Supernova Club! The old Supernova thread has reached 1,000 pages and will soon be moved to the Souvenir section. In this thread we talk about all kinds of music. We are going to talk about bands/artists like The Smiths, Oasis, Adam Green, The Beatles, The Strokes, Brigitte Bardot, Hard-Fi, Babyshambles, Amy Winehouse, Simon & Garfunkel, Crosby Stills & Nash, Arcade Fire, Beck, Turbonegro, The Hooters, The Go! Team, La Rocca, Manic Street Preachers, Nada Surf, Yeah Yeah Yeahs etc. The people contributing to this thread are officially called "beautiful people". There are no rules right now...but that could soon change. We talk about music here, but this is a place where we can talk about anything. Have fun! No, Elton was the only one BIG living legend left for me to see. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is great too with Billy Joel (maybe he thinks it's too much playing for the same album:Bennie and the Jets, Candle in the wind, Saturday's Night, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Funeral For A friend...)

well, we check new music here... it's not strange to see people here posting artists the others don't know... from Stefan's label to my own music, and many more... I quote your post so I can listen tomorrow... this guy was Elton's supporting artist at Barcelona, he appeared alone with an ac guitar, and virtually no-one knew him (he was brave to do that in front of 20,000), it looked familiar to me cause the day before I saw a video in VH1 with Rufus Wainwright and some guy that looked like the supporting artist. Rufus Wainwright Elton John... then if "that guy" Rufus Wainwright, yes that guy was Elton's supporting artist. This is the song on the radio, but he played many other great songs written for him... Teddy Thompson (a bit like Rufus Wainwright+John Denver) In my arms (with Rufus playing organ like Lennon in I'm Down from 1.48 on )

Queen playing I Feel Fine/Immigrant Song live, with Freddie Mercury, I mean... The 2 bands they liked the most, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin
this is much better, "Let's Go" a mix of several improvisations live of Queen in 1986... Deeeeeeeeehoohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! -
ok, after many things in my life, back to it... besides still looking for the right buttons to press (producing! :lol in my own songs recordings... ... i want to do some covers to have fun. I want to do Rags to Riches, cause I've fell in love with the melody... and Sing the Changes too. I only don't know if to do them as a normal recordings or as duets. With Sing the Changes I could do similar as with Hey Jude, adding some elec guitar and piano to the original recording, and to sing in harmony with Paul. And with Rags to Riches, I don't know... If I sing with Elvis, I know my voice is gonna crack in certain notes cause I'm not singing in a key that's good for me (but for Elvis). I could do harmony then... but I only know the song for a week, anyway it would be too hard to harmonize that melody... so I guess I'll do it alone, piano. Suggestions are welcome.

Well about two months ago I got to know two of my co-workers better who it turned out play music. They told me about some local 'open mike' nights they go to regularly and were more than open-hearted in inviting me to the next one, even though when they did I had just met them. I guess they see musicians as some kind of family instantly which is cool. It feels good to meet some like-minded people. It will be good to get back to listening to (and eventually playing) music again like this. The guy writes songs too - very nice songs as well. Very talented. It comes in handy then that I recently got my new Tanglewood semi-acoustic guitar which hasn't been played anywhere but at home. Life is good.
