I have to say Jesus Christ Superstar is for me because the music is so upbeat and it reflects questions many may have in their hearts.

That is a sad song. Good though. I just found it on you tube. Everyone was screaming for him at the end there

I have no stomach for Broadway musicals. The vocal-technique of over-enunciating every syllable is kryptonite to my rock spirit. However... ...I do like to watch an old Martin & Lewis or Hope & Crosby comedy movie from the '50s every now n' then -- which featured plenty of musical numbers. But as for movies like The Music Man or The Sound Of Music? Yecccchhh!

That sound of music is kinda strange lol/ All musicals are really. I like hair too. I like the hippie thing. And cats. I think Paul Mccartney his favorite musical must have been Annie. He bought it I read. I wonder if he bought any other playwrites?

Not a big fan of musicals, but I really love all the music from The Wizard of Oz.

Grease has good ones, as does Rocky Horror and Little Shop of Horrors.

I'm not sure where to begin because I love musicals. For those who say they don't like musicals, check out the music from "Wicked!". For traditional musicals, I love all the music from "Oklahoma!", "The Sound of Music" and "South Pacific". I'm especially fond of "You Have to be Carefully Taught".
