Dear Boy:
Daveyboy:
So basically the same set he has been doing for the last few years.
It's certainly looking that way. I'm hoping for at least a few more surprises.
I'm guessing 1 or 2 songs from Electric Arguments (Highway and Sing the Changes most likely). I believe he played those at Coachella, haven't seen videos for them yet.
-
Dear Boy:
I wonder if Paul's officially retired "Maybe I'm Amazed" in favor of "My Love" for his Linda tribute. I guess "Calico Skies" also counts, too.
He can't nail Maybe I'm Amazed anymore so maybe he has taken it out of the set. To be honest, it was starting to get a bit hard to listen to.

Yeah, I'm guessing he performed those two, as well. I wouldn't really consider them "surprises" (as nice as it is to see he's acknowledging his recent work).
-
I see someone just added a "Something" video, as well. No surprise there.
-
I'm really glad he's playing a similar set list to the one he did in 07 and 08. I last saw him in Boston in 05 and haven't heard him sing either A Day in the Life, My Love, Paperback Writer, Calico Skies, Mrs Vanderbilt, or any of the MAF/Fireman songs live. Sure he may repeat them show after show, but he does change his set list on major tours, and aside from the classics, there is no way that his current show compares to 02 and 05. See you in Boston, Paul!!

I'm perfectly fine with keeping those additions... It's more "Back in the USSR," "I've Got a Feeling," and "Flaming Pie" (and similar songs he always reprises) that I find somewhat more expendable.

Yeah what is it with Back in the USSR?!! It's a f*cking AWFUL song! And he's been playing it since 1989! WHY?! Same for Flaming Pie. Of all the songs on the album Flaming Pie, the song has got to be the weakest. What about Beautiful Night or The World Tonight? s for A Day In The Life/Give Peace A Chance - that is a terrible pairing from the outset. I'm glad he's doing the Fireman songs though - I'm a big fan of Sing The Changes. He's either become deluded in his old age or someone is giving him very bad advice.

I wouldn't say it's the weakest ("If You Wanna," "Really Love You," and "Used to be Bad" are worse), but it's definitely not among the best tracks on FP. I'd much rather hear Beautiful Night, The World Tonight, or even a softer, acoustic song from the album like Little Willow or Great Day.

Maccablog reports that Paul also sang Helter Skelter and the Sgt. Pepper/The End medley. They also confirm the Day Tripper performance.

What was the set list?

nice to know that people who weren't there didn't like the setlist, it will be good when the people who were actually there put their reviews in. I can't wait to hear from them.

Found a youtube vid of the Mull of Kintyre:
Wonderful. Here we have had a rare opportunity to see and hear this not-overplayed Wings gem and Wix trots out his STINKING, ROTTEN accordian and ruins the song. Paul sounds great, BUT ENOUGH WITH THE SQUEEZE-BOX !!!
