Elvis is the king of America, didn't you hear? I'll put dibs on the drool guy
-
Morrissey doesn't need to be king of anything. Nice hair Costello, almost like a quiff there. Oh wait, now this is what you call a REAL quiff---
-
I've now realized my hair is somewhere between Morrissey, Costello, and Andrew Garfield.
-
Not as good as Mozzer's fabulous quiff though.

Review #2 - Meat Is Murder - 1985 (2011 remaster) Track listing and review: The Headmaster Ritual - 2nd studio album opens with a great track, 'Belligerent ghouls run Manchester schools'. The song is about abuse from teachers in schools, the lyrics really capture this. Marr's guitar work is top notch as always. Rusholme Ruffians - Rockabilly! The thumping bass rules. The song captures the scene at a funfair, although little fun happens. 'A boy is stabbed and his money is grabbed' I Want The One I Can't Have - Marr strikes again with the guitar! Morrissey's vocals are fab on this one, you can hear the longing in his voice. 'I want the one I can't have, and it's driving me mad'. Really like this track. What She Said - Lyrics about a depressed character along with some flashy guitar work make a nice little track for the album. That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore - Good lyrics and good music. The music fades but kicks in again, great touch to the track. 'Well I just might die with a smile on my face after all'. Nowhere Fast - I love this one, definitely one of the best on the album. Rockabilly returns with incredible jangly riffs. Wonderful lyrics sung beautifully, it really captures Morrissey's anger and also sadness. Well I Wonder - Melancholy from the start. The track captures the singers feelings extremely well, the rain at the end of the track is beautiful. Barbarism Begins At Home - What a song! It's so incredibly FUNKY! The little jam at the end is an immense pleasure to the ears. Great work from all members. Meat Is Murder - The animal noises and the buzz saw sounds are sad. Morrissey's lyrics really back up 'Meat is murder'. It does make you think. Morrissey's vocals are marvellous. The saw noises are haunting. Overall rating 8/10

I wound up buying one of the Morissey solo albums you reviewed. Now I'm in deep. Morissey LIVE in a few weeks!

Which one's that now, Vauxhall and I? You Are The Quarry? Time is flying, get this US tour over with so more UK shows can be done.

Hey, it's not our fault that UK artists prefer to spend their time in the States.

The Big M is heading to NZ/Australia after the US. Loving this track Speedway from the Vauxhall and I album. Great lyrics and sung so impeccably well.

http://www.holymoly.com/music/news/smiths-will-reform-2013-confirmed-several-sources-rumour-glastonbury64478 Rumours, rumours, rumours. It was even allegedly mentioned on BBC6 music today too.

This aired shortly before I saw Morrissey in concert in '92. I remember watching it -- a Friday night, if I'm not mistaken:
-
Looks and sounds great there Audi. The telecaster player is still in the band today. (Boz Boorer).

He should be on The Colbert Report tonight BTW. He was on Fallon the other day I think. Edited to add the link:
'You Have Killed Me'. -

'You Have Killed Me'.Still making relevant music in his inimitable style. His vocal range seems better lately, too. Good song. The shirt? Eh...not so much.

Didn't expect that one! I like his style, always seems to have some nice shirts around. Would you rather this?

I'm sure that there is a REALLY good "drone" joke somewhere in me.

Drone? Afraid I don't understand Auds.
