I am like that too, right now I am drooling over a 65cm Cookie Monster , but haven't quite dared to go and get it, don't know how Therése would react if she found it sitting in the living room!
Oooooh, that cookie monster sounds just AWESOME! From the moment I bought a little statue of Smeagol/Gollum just to annoy Sean because he thinks the little guy is butt-ugly (which he maybe is) Sean is not surprised about ANYTHING I bring home anymore. But hey, the thing can TALK and says "my precious" and "master betrayed us" and everthing! Well, I don't think I can put it in the living room though. But I'm sure Therése could get used to the cookie monster though!
I can understand Sean, that Gollum is not a pretty figure, and having him looking at you all the time wold be scary! What else have you thought of bringing home to annoy Sean!? Maybe he is expecting meet a couple of freaks in Dublin too! Don't know WHAT you have told him about us!
-
OK off to bed with me....night Björn...(and any others if they're lurking)... Oh, and I'm sure Sean will behave in Dublin...and I told him only good things about you two of course! Anyway, goodnight sleep tight!

GOOD MORNING ALL!

OK, here is a couple of "new" tracks, first is a weird arrangement, it is a cover of two songs, with me playing Ukulele and singing. The original is from Hawaiian guy called Israel Kamakawiwo'ole that died in 1997, and his original is fantastic. When I heard the song I just wanted to grab my Uke and give it a try, did the recording very quick! Here ya go! Ooooh, this is such a wonderful version, I love it a lot...just simply accompanied with your uke, but it doesn't need more...I like simple better...just some acoustic instrument and voice is just the best! Anyway, your voice sounds awesome and sweet on this song as well! Great job!

Hey folks!! This has made my day for DAYS now, they are BACK!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing return, and there is more to see in the new Youtube channel too! Bjorn is a happy puppy right now!! I refuse to grow up, the day I don't appreciate this, put me in a box six feet under will ya!the harmonies at the start make me LMAO now, that's the impossible recording to copy, Queen spent 3 weeks only for the harmonies. A sound engineer told them to stop after recording 180 voices cause the tape was about to break. The typical day on the studio then was all day long singing Galileo galileo over and over, etc, they laughed a lot doing it. ANIMAL sings it (and plays) with feeling Now the harmonies of the opera part make me ROTFLMAO They should do it with Brian May and co. (Hey, Elton did some with them...). They have used the masters, cause the background is Queen recording really (well, part of, of course :lol I searched and they have done my other fav song ever
Thanks for that link!
well, actually, believe it or not, I started becaming a Beatle fan because of this The Beetles-Letter Be
not really this one, the Spanish version so popular here than ever has covers (with Paul's melody) or so so -

Nice! Your piano playing is really lovely!
Agree, it's great!! You're doing very well with your new-found knowledge on mastering a recording!
thank you it's only lots of reverb, and setting the keyboard to long sustained notes similar to piano pedals... like Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata sounds where the piano notes seem to never end... I tried with that to get the sound Beethoven's...
I also could never have sung that vocals before, just like Are you lonesome tonight... I know there's some line I sing "Tess me teacher what my problem" instead of "tell me teacher what's my problem" but I think my English when I sing is better than it was anyway... -

I already did a remix of this song a long way back, and now I played with some software synths to try to do a new one. The basic track is my piano that I used a synth to change the sound completely, then there is a bass and drums, and some VERY altered vocals, it is not for the auto-tune-haters , I tried to do it very modern, almost Cher-ish, just for the fun of it, hope you'll cherish the recording! I remember the "original", it appeared at the end of some movie... (Meet Joe Black?). I like it. As you have a clearer/brighter voice you make it sound "nicer" and that suits the song, I mean, the arrangement, the mix of the 2 classics. I like C'mon People arrangement. A great melody can be done in lots of ways. Ringo said:"What we did on studio it's not important. The important things are the melodies Paul and John did, that's what you whistle"

well, not so long ago I joked about "perfect-pitching" Elvis with any software to show the result... Today I've bought (for only 7 euros!) the Comeback Special, the 3 DVD one... And I think some have already auto-tuned Elvis. Bjorn will confirm, but I think Elvis vocals are autotuned in the high notes in this remix... in the part where the video is from the Comeback Special... Elvis sang the song in a way a little bit "against his voice", rough.. so the high notes are quite broken. But knowing Elvis he already did that on purpose, just like in If I can dream. You can see the difference Let Yourself Go Remix 2009
Let Yourself Go, where the vocals came from, Comeback Special 1968 -
doesn anybody knows the lyrics of Lawdy Miss Clawdy... I mean, what the heck is Elvis singing? Goodbye "tolittle" darling... Elvis...

Over the Rainbow is great, and astonishing as you know!! I like the experimental mixes you come up with. Nothing wrong with messing, and you did a great job on C'Mon People. I often laugh at people who say "John would turn in his grave" with the use of technology these days. I disagree totally, John would LOVE this type of stuff. He and Paul have always been "cutting edge".

[April Come She Will...version 2.0[/size">](http://rapidshare.com/files/313021744/AprilComeSheWill_mp3.mp3]<span style=) (click to download) First S&G song I learned! Now I'm working on one of my other favourite S&G songs but damn, what a horror it is...playing it on guitar is nothing, but I either have to capo it very high or tune down a lot, and I can't sing it properly without going back and forth between an octave higher and lower. : Sucks to be a girl right now, doesn't it?
GREAT VERSION!! Another one for the next album!!

This is turning out to be easier than I thought it would be, now that I've listened to all possible versions I could find (I went through all the S&G bootlegs) and figured out Art's harmony. This may just become one of my best. *cough*
