Sounds great Audi. I like that distortion that you used. Are you using a processor/pedal? What type of amp do you have?
...the "Elvis" touch (you know)...
You're referring to my "hup!"s. Verrrrrrrry Elvis-like.

Well, my promise if Spain won the World Cup was recording We Are The Champions. I've just done the piano and vocals. And if that wasn't complicated enough now I must record "the rest" ... electric guitar inspired in Brian May and sort of drums...

Since you guys are discussing music (yes please do Golden Earth Girl!!!), I also got my guitar out this afternoon...
Can't Help But Wonder Where I'm Bound....originally a Tom Paxton song, but Simon & Garfunkel covered it, and I like their version the most. And sorry, it's headless! So beautiful Evie, really great, and lucky me, I already know how you look!

I have allllll these projects: -Golden Earth Girl -You Got More Sass Than Class -Coming Up? -We Are The Champions (only if Spain wins the World Cup) -and my songs and today I was in the sofa watching videos and I started singing along to this...
I sang the chorus, I liked it, and I thought "why not?", then I've checked the lyrics and the rest of the music and I don't like so much... but I planned a elec guitar riff thing.... I think it would be shocking, and I like shocking things, you know. Too many plans I think I must focus only in one in two, if not I don't get a thing done...Looking forward to the projects....

Great, great work, mega-impressed, also really interesting mix, odd songs and you really found a great way to stitch them together! You must have done your homework properly, did it take a long time to record this?
-
As I mentioned, I've fallen for the pressure! Been playing this song occasionally. A Macca classic, love the simple arrangement, that is actually not so simple! Love the Wings harmonies and the bass is stunning . BUT I just did this with my portable handheld recording device, for the fun of it, no fixing done, live track, with a basic mix... SO, hope you have the patience to listen to this simple track, as I said, love the song, and would anyone like to try to record any harmonies, I won't say no! Thanks, B. I recorded it very quickly one evening after work. I'd been wanting to do something like this for at least two years, and I just randomly decided to do it. The song choices were determined pretty much by using my "ear." I have what is called relative pitch, and most of the time I can recall several songs in my head by hearing a particular chord. Recording it took about an hour'ish. I've jotted down on a piece of paper the next batch of songs that I'm going to add to it. More to come! (But not today -- I have ZERO voice left after screaming my lungs out at Paul MCartney's flawless show last night!!!!!!!!!!!!) -a

Yes!!!! He did it!!! And it's perfect for ya'! When I get my voice back, I'll add some Denny Laine harmonies. And you're right about the bass-line.

The stuff I did with Darth_McCartney are the ones I'm really proud of. They're on the first page of that thread -- links to youtube. That dude can play some funky-ass bass.
