There are rumours about Peru, Chile and other countries. According to the link below, the concert in Ecuador will be organized by a company called "Control Room", which is also responsible for the cultural events that will take place during the Soccer Cup in Brazil: http://popload.blogosfera.uol.com.br/2014/02/17/paul-mccartney-na-copa/ Because of that company's partnership with FIFA, there is speculation that Paul will return here in April. They keep saying that he could also take part in the World Cup celebrations, but Paul himself has ruled that out.

I wonder what will happen between April 18 and 28? Hopefully more shows. There's room for two more.
His team is probably in negotiations with at least 3 or 4 different countries. I was told earlier today that the candidates are: Brazil, Uruguay, Ecuador, Peru and Chile. Argentina has not been mentioned yet.
Hmmmmm....Argentina, Australia, Albuquerque, am I noting a trend here??
He's giving us all the Big A!!!
Now just add Atlanta to that and I'll be a happy camper!
Errr...better re-read the posts, Nancy...
Oh, I see! I got carried away, thinking that those were places he was going to! (I have to blame my pain medication for my sciatica!)

Paul's team visited the stadium in Uruguay today, to be sure it meets the requirements for the new tour: http://www.subrayado.com.uy/Site/noticia/30954/productores-de-paul-mccartney-recorrieron-este-lunes-el-estadio The date [April 18] has been reserved while negotiations are happening this week.

Wow! That's a fairly strong confirmation, me thinks!

It seems there are negotiations for a return to Peru on April 25! http://www.tuteve.tv/noticia/espectaculos/204657/2014-02-17-paul-mccartney-daria-un-nuevo-concierto-en-peru

These are the rumoured dates so far: Uruguay - April 18 Peru - April 25 Ecuador - April 28 or 29

Excellent news for you guys!

Indeed, but I would be surprised if he decided to return to the same cities in Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Colombia and Peru so soon. Argentina is in the midst of a socio-economical crisis, so that's difficult as well. I think Ecuador is more likely, and maybe a couple more Brazilian capital cities he's never been to.

I hope that this time will be real...last year we wait in vain, but time goes on and he is ON THE RUN again!!!!

According to this new article, Paul's team spent an hour at the stadium in Montevideo and liked what they saw. They are now offering April 19 as the available date for the possible concert and requested a US$ 3 million dollar fee: http://www.elobservador.com.uy//noticia/272030/esperando-a-mccartney/ That means the rumoured cities and dates are now: Montevideo - April 19 Lima - April 25 Quito - April 28

Anyway, in the same article, the producer also mentioned that is a "complex negotiation", and that the Paul's team are looking for stadiums all around the world in order to then, make a decision.

Update: according to this link, the local promoter ("Time For Fun") has confirmed Paul's return to Peru on April 25: http://conciertosperu.com.pe/internacional/2014/paul-mccartney-en-lima-2014/ The concert will be in Lima, at the Estadio Nacional (National Stadium) for 35,000 people. It also says tickets will be on sale a week from now, which seems rather premature. If he does return, I would not expect tickets to be available before mid-March. We'll see.

Considering the greeting he got at the Lima airport, it's not surprising he's going back:

That's right, and there was also a huge crowd to greet him when he arrived at his hotel. I was there, upper left corner in this picture, next to the guy in a red shirt. You can just see my head:

There's no way Paul would skip US tour dates, he makes a boatload of money here in the States.

My one wish for the 2014 tour: PLEASE GET RID OF THE RISING PLATFORM.
