According to this report, there may be an answer later today about the concerts in Argentina and Brazil. If it works out, tickets for the november 10 concert might go on sale by the weekend: http://gazetaonline.globo.com/_conteudo/2014/09/noticias/cidades/1498065-vinda-de-paul-mccartney-ao-es-depende-de-outros-shows-no-brasil.html

It seems the contract for the first concert has not been signed yet due to the other cities not having been confirmed by Paul's staff so far: http://www.eshoje.jor.br/_conteudo/2014/09/entretenimento/festas_e_eventos/22369-contrato-nao-chega-e-show-de-paul-mccartney-e-duvida.html We are just six weeks away from the first rumored date, so there are lots of people worried about the outcome of these negotiations.

It would all be solved if the fee were reasonable and normal. The Stones are able to go and they are bigger than McCartney.
Bigger? Ehhh.......
Ok. Based on what is McCartney bigger than the Stones? And you can't include the Beatles, that is whole other story!! I am talking about a touring entity.
He's certainly bigger than Mick Jagger. Mick's just a skinny little thing.
LOL. How tall is Paul? I have never stood next to him and don't think I have ever seen his height disclosed.

This should all play out within a week I would guess, right?

I believe so. Everyone says that the concerts will happen, and that they are just working out the details before making an announcement. They are usually announcement 4-6 weeks in advance and tickets go on sale immediately afterwards, so there's still time. In fact, one of the promoters has even mentioned that he has already paid Paul's three-million-dollar fee. Apparently Paul's team is considering adding another city in Brazil in case they can't reach an agreement with promoters from Argentina. Two or three possibilities have been mentioned, and the most likely candidate seems to be Rio de Janeiro. I haven't heard about venues, but I hope it will be at the MaracanĂ£ Stadium, where Paul got that Guinness Book record-breaking audience in 1990. I would love to be at a concert of his there.

Lambeau Field in Green Bay is purporting to have a large concert announcement coming in April. Sounds like it may be a perfect McCartney stop.
AAAARRRRGGGHH! As long as I'm back from overseas! Really, my money for Lambeau would be U2 as they will no doubt be touring to promote their new release and they have done football stadiums in WI previously (Camp Randall in Madison). Hope I'm wrong! So when are those Osaka presale tickets going on sale??? Seoul???
I agree, my money would be on U2 for Lambeau
Whatever it is probably would not be until renovation work is completed in July. http://www.packers.com/news-and-events/article-1/Lambeau-Field-Atrium-renovation-work-continues/46ee8efe-8f5c-43d2-a95c-2ad1b158678f
More details have been released regarding this concert. It will be on June 20. Reference to "his tour" lends further hope to it indeed being Paul. http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/story/entertainment/music/2014/09/24/lambeau-field-host-major-concert-june/16185575/?from=global&sessionKey=&autologin=

I would love if U2 did a show in New Mexico in 2015, they have not been here since 1987, so I would certainly go.

According to this article, Paul was going to do two shows in Argentina, but the promoter is having a hard time getting money to pay him and The Stones: http://paulestodo.com/noticias/mario-pergolini-hablo-sobre-las-visitas-de-paul-mccartney-y-los-rolling-stones-a-la-argentina-3026

I know for a fact that the PMI people were interested in trying to get Paul for a concert at Lambeau at one point. I doubt this concert being discussed is Paul. Usually country acts announce dates 6 months or more ahead of time, which would seem to line up with this type of announcement. Just my guess.

The promoter scoffed, as he should, at the 5 million dollar per concert fee, that is usually 1.5 to 2 million per show in other parts of the world.

This guy (the one from the interview) is angry because another promoter is in the negotiations and not him. Now, as you say, not true about 1.5. or 2 million that the Stones charges in other countries and they are trying to get more money in Argentina, that's not true, Paul, The Stones, plus others charges the SAME fee no matter the country. The Stones fee has been over 3 /4 million since the tour started 2 years ago. Paul's fee has been the same since the past tour or two.

It's too high no matter what, no matter who the artist. But I don't have to pay it, so I'm ok with it!

And Paul normally does not announce a concert 6 months ahead of time!

From new interview with Brian Ray. "It is a stunning turn of events to have such a great response, like we've had on radio and from fans, for a couple of guys who clearly are not 19. We couldn't be more pleased," Ray, 59, said. "The only place we've played live so far is in Buenos Aires. We're trying to plan shows for after Paul's (current) tour, maybe in December." http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2014/sep/25/paul-mccartney-guitarist-brian-ray/ So it definitely looks like no Paul concerts in December.

I agree a country artist is more likely, but if it is McCartney that would likely help me set my hopeful midwest trip next year. I live in Atlanta, but am an Appleton, WI native (my dad is a Green Bay native). Was planning to visit friends and family in Chicago next year, if this ended up being McCartney i'd likely try to get schedule my Chicago trip for June and then get up to this concert. RamblinRed

That's too bad. Seems being a McCartney fan in Argentina, Australia, and New Mexico can be pretty disappointing. Maybe the Rolling Stones will work something out there. Not likely.

Also add Europe to that list... as it seems that Europe is completely forgotten this year.
