            R.I.P. I have an extensive 4CD box set with B.B. King called "The King of the Blues". It's quite varied, from hardcore blues to disco flirtations. He was not so much of a genre purist but you can always recognize his style. He collaborated with U2 on "Rattle and Hum" in the 80s and I enjoy his cover of the bluesy "McCartney II" track "On the Way" on "The Art of McCartney".
