I LOVE the VH-1 "Behind The Music" on Pantera, it was tragedy what happened to Dimebag!! R.I.P. Darrell Lance "Dimebag" Abbott, Born 20 August 1966, Died 8 December 2004 at age 38. NOTE: Notice how Dimebag died on the same day (8 December) as John Lennon only different years.

If you're looking for comparisons, both were shot too. I watched the BTM special a couple of weeks ago (on Youtube since we don't get that show in the UK). I saw Pantera about a dozen times live over the years (both supporting and headlining) and they were always a great night out. Best time was 1994 at Donington for Monsters of Rock.

Hi johnnymain!!! How are you? That is so cool that you saw Pantera live, I only saw them three times but they were great to watch live while on stage!!! That is a trip that both Lennon and Dimebag were shot and killed on the same day, 8 December. Three days before, on 5 December 1980, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant announced at a press conference that LED ZEPPELIN could no longer continue as they were with the death of John Bonham in September 1980!!! I must say, 1980 did not end on a good note at all!!! Take care.

The last time I saw him was on Halloween in 2011. I doubt there's a better band to see on Halloween?

Probably not with all of the theatrics!!! Maybe Ozzy, what do you think?

Ozzy's live shows are nothing worth talking about now. His voice is shot and his stage craft is awful. A once great performer should give up gracefully. Alice, of the other hand, still gives his live performances 100%.

I agree, even Sharon made the comment that Ozzy shakes like a little Chihuahua!!!
