    • RE: Paul McCartney 2023 Rumors

@5th-beatle said in Paul McCartney 2023 Rumors:

There are now rumors of an European tour in 2023. No details regarding dates or places.

What is the source of these "rumours" - why post a bland statement with nothing to back it up?

A quick internet search would answer your questions.

    • RE: SIR PAUL COMPILATION PACKAGE CALLED SOLO CLASSICS / 56 Tracks/3 CDs With a Release Date of June 18, 2022

I think Paul and MPL understand his audience so they don't need fans trying to convince them to release compilation albums, much less choose the tracks.

Yes, all the main newspapers published it a few days ago.  They mentioned that ticket prices will apparently be around 400 to 1200ILS (120-350 USD).

It that within the price range usually charged by other big international artists that play in Tel Aviv?

Regarding the possible date of the concert, I think that May (before the concerts in France) is more likely than June (pretty full schedule already).

if that happens, the number of material for Paul's docummentary gets bigger and even more interesting because it looks like the last imagens will be recorded at the show in Glastonbury.

It's already been confirmed that documentary footage will be shot at Glastonbury by filmmaker Charlie Lightening, however, the BBC always records and broadcasts live footage and interviews from Glastonbury which could also be used in Lightening's as yet untitled film.

Not really that "interesting" without context  on where the photo came from.
