Great review Wixrocks, that looks like one amazing show, glad u had a ball, can't wait for 28th September now! Of course its Brian''s 70th 2 days after Paul.
I've seen Brian and his band three times over the last few years and it's always a magical night. I was tempted by the BB reunion, but i think, as someone else said, my wallet might explode all the gigs i've been to recently. Off to see Tom Petty And The Heartbreaker tonight, another expense, but it should be great.

That should be cracker of a gig Boycie! yeah have seen Brian twice once in 2005 (Brighton) and last year at the Royal Festival Hall, but this BB concert will be icing on the cake. Also a slight hope that Paul may decide to put on a few shows come winter time.

I see how it is! And yeah, him smiling pretty much made it for me. I got a great pic of him playing bass, with his head cocked back with this big smile from ear to ear...so cool.

Thanks Shaun! He was a little reserved at the soundcheck, very personable (by Brian's terms at the meet n greet) and for the most part, very in tune with his surroundings at the concert...he gave much more than I expected!

Ace Photo of the band, that's one to show the Grandkids!!

Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers were beyond awesome Monday night John, it was one of the best gigs ever, they blew the roof off the RAH with a night of raucous, loud and memorable music, truly outstanding show. Link below is a blinding version of Refugee from the gig filmed by a fan, not me, i had a better view, luckily.

We were about ten feet to the left of where we were, but back row in the circle, the good thing was that nobody was behind us so we could stand which was great, and no rail in our way. Also it was easier for my air guitar playing to be standing. They did do Handle With Care which was great, but the whole show was truly memorable, the atmosphere was electric, unlike the Paul gig which was a little flat i thought, but i think that was to do with the 13 year wait for us fans to see the band, there was a lot of love in the room.

The Tom Petty concert at the RAH was awesome!!! I have to say that Boycie was really rocking the air guitar big time!! Wish I had taken a video! Lots of fun and it was on Paul's birthday, so we wore our PMc t-shirts as a nod to Paul's birthday! We were hoping that Tom would dedicate a song to Paul... Here's our seat, which looked closer than the picture does. We were right on the back wall, great seats for standing and air guitar and dancing

Thanks! They were very strict about no autographs...but boy were they selling them!...that classic Mike Love marketing I suppose. : I bought Al Jardine's solo CD signed for $10. But they also had the tour programme signed by all five for $100 and if you obught ten copies of the new album, you got the last one signed by the all five of them, of course the CD's are $10 a piece...
