Hi Tashi & Paulfan Yes It's a lovely name. But have you noticed the first four letters are the same as Beatles ?? A happy co-incidence...I wonder. Love and cheers Sam.
I love her name and the BEAT is an added bonus I just saw the first photo on the cover of the Liverpool Echo-that really brightened up my morning. She truly is a little beauty.
I think that in creative artists subconscious is very important . Nothing is left "to chance". And what seems left to chance it's on the artists subconcious. Sam tells about the story of Eleanor Rigby and her grave. I'm sure that BEATLES has "influenced" Paul to name her daughter conciously of subconsciously.

Hi Everyone. Wow it took me 30 minutes to read all the posts since I went to Dubai to spend some time with my youngest daughter Samantha. What a fabulous place Dubai is. Incredible !! Here's a few answers to posts thta I can recall. If someone is left out I'm sorry. Tori-in-Texas. My birthdate is 17th Dec 1935. But I'm much yoiunger than that. Cbimbi: Dubai was full of Liverpool Ladies (Samantha's friends) who are the best....and wackiest. And Pele was the best ever. Funnily enough Samantha is going to a fancy dress ball tonight as Pele. Paulfan. I haven't decided on the actors yet. Wait till I finish writing it. I'll be starting again this weekend. Christina (Harleyblues). I haven't forgotten about your stuff but Paul is all over the place. I'll keep trying though. Tashi (Stylegurrl). Nice to see you back and I hope you start posting again. We missed you. Sara: (Starr). You've been busy and now you're on your way to 4000. Snow in October ?? Oh no....Ohio. Samuel Catalino (Samcat). Nice to have you back with us. I was worried about you. BTW Chelski are also having a go at the title. Swaying Daisy: I've written something down to answer your post but now I can't read my own writing. What am I like ?? Merry 483: I'll be getting back to my writing this weekend. I'm like that I work for a few days then leave it for awhile. Oliver: Nice to see you are trying hard. It WILL pay off eventually. However, you'll have to write an album just to pay for the postage and phonecalls, heh, heh. Denny You're that far back I can't recall what you posted but I definitely agreed with what you said when I read it. If I've left anyone out please tell me. I'm getting my tea now and Liverpool are playing Blackburn LIVE on Telly so I'll be back after 10.00pm GMT. Around three hours time. Thanks again for your kind comments to me and the great posts which are keeping this thread interesting and lively. They're appreciated !! Love, cheers and hugs to my band of mates. Sam xxxx
It is great to be back, Sam. Interesting enough, my birthday is in December as in the fifth, and in 1955. We aren't getting older Sam, we are getting better! Great to see you, mate!

Hi Sam (Samcat) & Cesar (Cbimbi) Yes it's nice for us football fanatics to be back chatting. I hope all our teams win this weekend. Cheers. Sam.

Hi Tashi (Stylegurrl). You quoting the Eleanor Rigby thing tells me you've read my stuff closely. Thank you for that. Love and hugs. Sam.

It was a rough weekend last weekend for Manchester United! You should have said, as long as our teams don't play each other, Sam.
-
Sam, By the way, it is kind of cool that your birthday and mine are close together, and that we were both born in a year that ends with a five. No wonder we get along! Best, Samuel (AKA samcat AKA Chico)

Well it's not Tashi who has written about Eleanor Rigby but me . It seems we're gonna play. Harry Fox agency don't answers... Nice weekend for you all.

Hi Sam (Samcat) I prefer that nickname. I know our tewams aren't playing each other. The premiership would be much too fast even for the best Brazilian teams. Mind you brazil play better football...sometimes. Cheers. Sam.

Hi Oliver. Sorry it was you who quoted Eleanor.. so than YOU for reading my stuff. I've been thinking and a good way for you to get somewhere with your music is to find a Radio Station or Deejay who will play it a few times on the air. Then you get a few friends to ask for it to be played again. And away you go. Tape the programmes and then tell prospective record companies of that. Best of luck. Sam.

My sister knows bout someone of the Radio of my town. (most of the people we know got to do with music...) mmm... Maybe I should have to change a little the recording. To quit those "P"s that disturb the voice, and use a compressor... maybe I have to talk with the girl on the radio and see what I've got to change. Or maybe it will sound like it is, many people like it and play it like this. It's a... brilliant weird idea. mmm... I know many people that works on radios... I'll ask them. Thank you Sam.

Hi Sam figured i would bump this up again! hope you're having a good weekend.

Hi Christina (Harleyblues). Try 20 years waiting list for a Liverpool FC season ticket. I had to wait for 12 years but that was 30 years ago. That's how long I've had my seat. I've been supporting LFC for 62 years since I was 5. If and when I get the chance Paul will get your stuff. Patience. Love and hugs. Sam.
-
Thanks for the bump Sara. Have a good weekend. And that goes for everyone. Love and hugs. Sam.

Hi everybody. I've just seen Real Madrid-Bilbao. At the start troubles to score a goal. But two greats goals of Ronaldo and... SHOWTIME! as usual. What a team. The starting 11 is the most attacking team ever in Real Madrid Ronaldo Zidane Raul Figo Guti Beckham Roberto Carlos (defender but attacking as a wing) Helguera and Raul Bravo (both of them used to play as midfielders but now they are "defenders") and Salgado (same as Roberto Carlos) But my fav goal is the third one. Ronaldo left 3 defenders on the ground and then gives the goal to Figo. You've got to see the 3 goals on TV! Don't miss them if you are able to see them!. And the Zidane 40 metres pass backward volley!.
-
Oliver You don't have to tell me about Roberto Carlos or Real Madrid. I've been admiring them before you were born when they had Puskas, Di Stefano and Hento. But when Liverpool get back in the Champions League we'll start giving you some lessons, heh, heh. Remember Paris when we beat you in the final ?? You hardly got a touch of the ball. Cheers. Sam.

I don't remember Paris... I was only 3 :-). But those the Liverpool great times, I think. They should deserve to win the Cup. What do you think bout the Real Madrid of the 50's compared the present team? I've heard many good things of Di Stefano. Most of them saying he has been the greatest football player ever. That's what they say here in Spain. As in Argentina they say this of Maradona. I think that the info could be a little biased... Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Di Stefano and Beckenbauer. Pele the best?
-
Hi Oliver. Here is the correct order...in my opinion having seen them all play at their peak. 1. Pele. 2 Maradona 3 Puskas then jointly in 4th place. Cruyff. Di Stefano. Garincha. 7-10th Didi. Finney. Platini. Dalglish. FYI Garincha (Brazil 1958 -62) Finney (England). Dalglish (Scotland) Honourable mentions John Charles Billy Liddell. Georgie Best. Franz Beckanbaur. Bobby Moore. Bobby Charlton. Dennis Law. Cheers Sam.
