Sam Leach:
Hi again gang. Has anyobne heard from Cesar (Cbimbi), Carlo from Brazil and Denny C ? Cheers. Sam.
Hi Sam, Denny C has posted but I believe she is having problems accessing the site like a lot of other AOL users Sarah

Sam of course I know youa re joking. No I haven't fallenout with you. I usually wait for a reply before I reply. I'm glad to have started this thread in your name. I was also joking about playing Paul even though I would love to play him if I was a talented actor. I had a moptop like his once and used to pretend I was him when I was a teenager. I even used to write a friend of mine letters and would say sincerely Giri and The Wings. Pretty funny eh? I hope whoever plays Paul will do a good job. There is a member on here named Beatlefred maybe he could play Paul. I think Aidan Quinn did a good job in the movie Two Of Us. I can't wait to see who will play him and John. I look forward to the film when it comes out. I hope Mike wills top by here also. If you speak to him tell him to stop by here, this is the replacement thread for the one you started.

Congratulations, Sam ... all the votes paid off. I'm ready to start voting again ... when do we start? Now?

Hi Sam I went and voted and you are at number one! Way to go Sam! I listened to some of American English on tehir website and the guy who does Paul is real good. Got To Get You Into My Life sounded pretty much like how Paul sang it in concert.

Hi Giri (Paulfan). I'm glad you like American English...and they're as good visually as they sound. And I also knew you were joking about playing Paul. Nice to be all chatting with each other again. I'll try to get back evry day. Cheers. Sam.

Hi Clo Thanks for all your votes and you can start voting right away. I appreciate your giving this your time and effort but this time it's going to be even harder as the other sites worked almost as hard as we did on drumming up votes. But we've got a more dedicated team...right !! Use as many computers as you can and ask your mates. Thanks for everything. Love and hugs. Sam.

I've been to vote

Thanks Sarah. Let's stay at #1. Love and hugs. Sam.

Hi Sam, I do hope I get to see American English someday. I'm glad you know I was joking about playing Paul even though I would love to play him if there was a local production down here. Maybe I should dres up as him for Halloween. I always wonder whether Paul was a James Dean type back int eh Cavern days?

No Giri. (Paulfan). Paul was never a rebel...always polite and treated people with complete respect...even his teachers at school. He was always a diplomat and did most of the talking for the Beatles when it came to dealing with promoters. Cheers. Sam.

I can well believe that, Sam ... Paul always seems to know the right thing to say. I remember the early interviews ... he always seemed to be a natural

Thanks Sam. I always wondred that because I read about him liking certain stuff and his dad being afraid fo him being a teddy boy. I read where his dad didn't like him wearing tight pants and black leather jackets but Paul wore him dwon. I always wondered how to describe Paul if he wasn't a rebel or exaclty a clean cut type. Thanks for answering my question I sure could take a lesson from Paul on diplomacy. I've said some pretty rotten things before myself and gotten in trouble for it. One thing I noticed is that parents like Paul and never object to children listening to him. No wonder he gets criticized so much because he isn't a rebel. I think my question may finally be answered as to why critics put Paul down so much he has looks, talent, wealth and is a diplomat qualities to make other people jealosu eh? I hope I'm right. Like you said I'll ignore the people who ptu Paul down from now on.

Hi Sam, A question for you, Do you still hear anything of Gerry Marsden? I know a few years back he made a few appearances on the Sooty Show. I was just wondering what he is doing these days. I'm sure I can remember seeing a film on TV when I was very young called Ferry 'cross the Mersey', (one of my favourite songs). I know it was in Black and White...(well, everything was in those days wasn't it,LOL and we only had a black and white telly anyway until I was nearly 20!!) and I'm sure it had Cilla in it too. hugs Sarah

Oh Sarah, I've always love Ferry 'Cross the Mersey, as well as Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying.
