Hi Sam - hope you have a great time in Cleveland. And I hope everyone else who is going has a safe and fun trip. Wish I could go but this is my first full week back at work (school) and I didn't feel like I could take off. I am scheduled to go see Ringo's concert on the 15th though.

Hi Mike, Swaying Daisy, Starr and Jennifer. I may be out of e-mail contact for a week from Friday onwards. I don't think I'll have time to use a laptop in Cleveland. Especially as I've got all sorts of different stuff in it and I don't want to change all the settings that I have right now on DSL. Thanks for all your support and I'm sorry I'vebeen a little AWOL but honestly I've been snowed under with committments, etc. I'll get back as soon as I can. Sincere regards to everyone. Sam.

Hi JJ (Janet, If I recall correctly) Yeah, Liverpool was great and had a great time. It seemed like you were, too. It was nice meeting up with you there. Now, I hope that Macca comes to Florida again but in case he doesn't I am eager and willing to travel again. One web site posted that Macca said that he'd return to perform in Liverpool in the summer of 2004 -- I doubt I can convince my wife to return there so quickly but if he does a When I am 64 show in 2006 -- I'd do my best to go for it -- I feel like I have at least one more Macca in Liverpool tour in me! I got the bug. I don't know about the weather in Miami but here in Coral Springs it's a typical humid -- rainstorms every day August. Cheers! Mike
Hey there! Yep, you're right - it's Janet. Good memory! I had the time of my life! Not just because of the Liverpool gig (actually I was soooo tired by that time, I could barely enjoy it!), but just the whole experience! I guess because it's been something that I've wanted to do for over 20 years, it made it so awesome! I'd do it again in a heartbeat, but I'd pace myself a little better next time! I will definatley travel again to see Paul; hopefully he'll come back to the states, but I'm flexible! I'm guessing he'll do Australia; rumor has it he's going back to Brazil, so we'll just have to wait and see what else he has up his sleeve!

JJ: Even though you seemed to be having a great time -- what was your last impression of Charles' tour? If I do it again based on others feedback -- I'd still opt to do it on my own or perhaps do Fantasylum -- they had great seats, sound checks, etc but real expensive. Mike
Funny you mention that.... It was a wonderful trip, but it was a bit overpriced. I sent Charles quite the email after we returned and gave him my honest and constructive feedback. We emailed each other until the 4th of July! The biggest letdown was, of course, Scotland being cancelled, and being promised 'premium' seating, which we didn't get at Sheffield. Paulo, Donna, Bill and I did manage to find our way down to second row sidestage at Sheffied, which was not too bad, but not until about 45 minutes before the end of the show. The folks who did the Fantasylum seemed to be very happy with their tour, but I think they only had 3 days there (if I'm correct).. Good to hear from you! Yes, it's hot and humid here too! Take care! JJ

Sam Leach:
Hi JayJay. Yes I do remember you you were sitting on the inside seat. Have you heard from Paulo lately. I sent him an e-mail before I left Liverpool and he hasn't replied as yet. Drop in to chat more often. Cheers. Sam.
Hi Sam! Wow, you have a great memory... Yes, I've seen Paulo a couple of time since Liverpool (we are practically neighbors!). He came over and met my husband and my little ones and we met up to see a Beatles tribute band up in Ft. Lauderdale. Haven't heard from him in a few weeks. Maybe I'll give him a ring this weekend. I hope you have a great time in Cleveland (I think I read that's where you are going)... wish I could go with you all, but I'd rather start saving for Paul's next tour! Or possibly Liverpool in 2004! Enjoy! JJ

Hi Mike, I was wondering if you like Goerge's songs All THose YEars Ago and When We Was Fab? I hear it is on The Best OF Drak Horse 1976-1989 but isn't anywhere in the stores I live. Even Cloud Nine and Somewhere in England aren't available in the stores. Funny Huh?

Paulfan I like both songs -- Cloud nine is an especially good album. Mike
