Geez i keep getting stuck on threads here is anyone else having the same problem? Then i have to end up rebooting so i can post again!! that's happened twice since i've been home!
-
Hi Sam, I finally sat down and finished reading your book. It made me feel like I was there. John was such a character. He seemed happier in those days. Those stories of Ringo were funny. I'm glad they were loyal to you. I think you are too much of a gentleman. Brian did not want to share them with anyone. It makes sense what you said about Pete's departure. Brian wanted no obstacles it seemed. I wish they had done more for you though. Glad to hear that Paul always has a special place for you. I, for one, will remind people how big a role you had to play in their beginnings. Cheers to you Sam. "Peace in the neighborhood"

Hi Dmmedic Isn't it terrible. I've forgotten your name...oh well it's late so forgive me. I'm really happy that you love the book and for the comments you've made. That makes it all worth while to me. I don't need any glory. It was an honour to be a stepping stone in The Beatles career. Goodnight. Love and hugs. Sam xx

Hi, Starr I was lucky to see Paul McCartney in Rio, 1990, from a short distance, which I was able to take a very special photo of his group o

HI, Sam How is it that Liverpool cannot get back to be what it has always been one of the strongest club in the world ? Why not fire this Gerard and sign with a not so stupid coach ? I canot believe even a certain Southampton is able to beat LFC... " all you need is one or two brazilian players " I´m waiting for the Patagonian tale, Sam

Hi Cesar (Cbimbi). Here it is again from page 332. And I'm quite surprised that no one else remarked on it. It's a great story...and perfectly true. If my Dad had drowned we may not have heard of The Beatles as Brian Epstein may not have gone to see them. Read my book to see why. I'm off back to bed.....goodnight. Sam (see below). ************************************************************* Hi Cesar (Cbimbi). I promised to tell you a story about Patagonia. My Dad was a seaman which is how he met my Mother in St John's Newfoundland in 1933. But he was lucky to be there...and therefore so am I to be here today. On his first voyage as a 15 year old cabin boy, his ship The `SS Beacon Grange' was shipwrecked on Oliver Bank, Rio Gallegos, Patagonia Argentina on September 6th 1921, during a terrible storm. And my Dad couldn't swim !! His shipmate, Billy Lacey I think, lashed him to my Dad's seamans trunk, threw him overboard and Dad floated in to shore and safety. Sadly, Billy drowned. I still have his trunk...and a great photo with my dad, looking about 7 years old, at the back holding up a banner with the name of the ship. There was just one lady on the photo, further proof of the old Mariner's superstition that having a female on board was bad luck. BTW I don't subscribe to that view. I adore the ladies !! Cheers Sam.

Sam Leach:
Hi Sam C Man Utd are now 12 points behind Arsenal so they're in decline. And to rub things in Man City beat them yesterday 4-1. When we get a new manager who understands football we'll be back on top. The strong rumour is Kenny Dalgleish is waiting to come back. Cheers Sam.
Hello Sam, Yep after them releasing their star, they do seem to be in decline....well these things go in cycles. It does seem to be an Arsenal year. Cheers! Sam C.

Yep, one of these days, I will break down and get a copy of Sam's world famous book! Until then, I will just keep voting my favourite Sam is only one vote ahead at this time! VOTE FOR OUR FAVOURITE SAM!!!
-
Hi Sam C. Thanks for the support and drumming up more votes. And Man Utd's problems have been caused by Alec Ferguson....and no one else. The man is past it. Senile. I knew months ago he should sign a cover centre half...yet he didn't !! Remember when he `kicked' a boot at Beckham. Well that wasn't strictly true. He threw it at the lad from a few yards. What happened was this. They had just been beaten by Arsenal and Fergie said to Becks as they came into the dressing room. "Viera made you look like a novice." Becks replied. "And Wenger makes YOU look like one too." And that's the reason Beckham left...and took Man Utd's heart with him. Fergie has gone with his own wind. Cheers Sam.

Hi Sam Thanks for sharing your story!! I say The Beatles may not have been discovered if your dad drown lucky he survived, and you wouldn't be here either! Sam I have absolute respect for you and what you have given us through your years with The Beatles. Thanks!! I have to be honest and tell you Sam I'm ashame to say I don't have your book at the moment, it certainly would be an excellent book. Could you tell me the Name of that book and will I be able to buy it at major book shops??? I'll be very busy soon starting in April!! I will be recording new songs for my CD, I will not have much time to be here at Sir Paul's forum but I will drop in every now and then! I've been held back behind schedule due to my audio recording gear not arriving it's 4 weeks late gggrrr, I called the dealer again today and they said it will be in late next week! Take care! All the best!

Sam, Losing Beckham was the biggest dumb move they made. And it sounds like there may be more changes in the works, and if Glazer buys them, there will be more, and they may be good. Glazer took over the Tampa Bay Bucs American football team and several years later they won their first championship. Best, Sam C.

When I voted this morning, Sam was up by 12, so keep voting. I hope Brenda and Jamie are having a good time in Londontown. How could they not? Tell Brenda she is missing out on a snowstorm in Minneapolis! Have a good time when you see them again and tell Brenda that Linda said to keep on having a great time.
-
Hi Linda (Maccascruff). Yes they had a great time and are flying home tomorrow. Thanks for the votes...we're behind by 2. Sam C. I hope Glazer takes them over and sells them to Man City, heh, heh. having problems again with this site...why ?? Cheers Sam.
