OUCH!!!!
Well, you are one lovely lady, but you already knew that. Lovely pictures, thanks for sharing them. One of my good friends drew Wonder Woman years ago. If you bought comics, you might even know his name. I shan't reciprocate, because, I think I would frighten you all...
Thank you!!! Hey...you are from Tampa.....I live in Orlando.... Cool about your friend drawing Wonder Woman...have you ever been to Megacon....it's a HUGE Sci fi convention!! I"m not huge into sci fi but it was interesting to see!!
I have never missed a Megacon. My friend is George Perez, who I have known for many years. Over the years at Megacon, I have met Todd McFarlane (creator of Spawn), Jonathan Harris (Dr. Smith),June Lockhart, Bob May of Lost In Space fame, and seen stars from Buck Rogers (this year), some stars from Star Trek (Walter Koeing, Nichelle Nichols) and many more, some from Buffy and some from Angel and several from Smallville. The shows are getting bigger each year. Glad you enjoyed it.

Hang in there, glass onion. I believe everyone here is thinking of you and wishing you well.
It's even wierder. My doctor was a bit freaked out when she looked at my foot. What I have isn't arthritis, it's something where 95% of its cases are male, and of the 5% that are female, most are over 50 or 60. I have gout!! I've had blood tests to confirm and will get the results on Friday hopefully. I need to change my diet, etc, as it effects the whole renal system and I could get liver disease. It's genetic and my dad only found out today he has it too, in his ear. :
Well, at least it is treatable, hopefully. In that way, you can treat the source of the problem, and prevent the pain. At least you know what the problem is, and if that is the case, is half the problem to resolving the matter, if it can be treated. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

How COOL....I've gone the past 2 years in a row....I fell in love with a comic book there called "Owlie", I've become a BIG fan!! I met the Hulk dude this year!

Lauren, Sorry to read about the gout. That is a little odd, eh? Well, maybe you should see a dietician (sp?) about it, and perhaps they could even help your diet even more. I hope you get better. It might take a long time, though. *hugs* Sam, I hope you are doing well. I've been trying to keep up to everyone here, and I just can't seem to do it at all. I'm sorry! I'll be sure to read up, though.

I met Lou Ferringo a couple of years ago in San Diego. It was kind of amusing, as he was standing behind a table when off to the right there were a whole bunch of Hulk t-shirts there for sale. So I went to him in all seriousness and asked him how much the Hulk t-shirts were. He politely said, that was not his booth, then I let on that I was kidding him and knew who he was and got a picture and autograph from him. His handler gave me too much money back, and I corrected him. Lou saw that and really appreciated my honesty. I did go to school with the other Hulk, Hulk Hogan. He was two years ahead of me. I saw Lou at the hotel Saturday night, but I did not approach him. I did share an elevator with Erin Gray, of Buck Rogers fame though.

Hi Samuel, That is neat that you met Lou Ferrigono. The Incredible Hulk was one of my favorite spuerheroes as a kid. What was Hulk Hogan like in high school?

There isn't much I can change in my diet. You're not meant to eat red meat, shellfish or creamy foods (I am a vegan), limit alcohol consumption (I have had a single alcoholic drink; a Bacardi breezer) this month. The only fruit I am allowed til I finish my medication are blackberries and raspberries although I am eating blueberries anyway.

Paulfan, He was not involved in athletics at all. He was in a band and (you all will like this) played bass in a local band. I guess the music came through with his daughter Brooke Hogan. The thing is his real name is Terry Bollea. Last time I ran into him was the day of the Columbia disaster when he was with his son and some of his son's friends watching Final Destination 2. Best, Samuel
-
Sam, Great to see you back here and feeling a bit more fit. Hope all continues to be better for you. It's getting better all the time! Cheers! Samuel
-
Hi Samuewl, I do remember reading about him playing bass. Was he a fan of Paul's? I've heard that he isn't as great a guy as he is cut out to be. IS this true? Was he a good eprson back in hgih school or did he have a big ego?

funny story! So you went to school with Hulk Hogan? No famous peeps in my school, but, I did hang with johnny Depp back in the early 80's...he played in a band called The KIds and my friends and I where friends with them all...Johnny Depp was a great guy...very polite and quiet!
-
Hanging with Johny Depp seems pretty intersting. I didn't go to school with any famous people either. Darius Rucker from Hootie and the Blowfish went to my high school but that was years before I went there. Mena Suvari used to live across the street from some people I knew and they told me she was stuck up.
-
Mena Suvari looks stuck up, I have to say.

She is Lauren.
