Set lists with only post-Beatle stuff

For a fantasy thread, this is pretty cool. Some of the listed songs are so obscure, even McCartney did not consider performing them when he promoted some of those albums in years past. They will probably never see the light of day on a live stage. We are not likely to ever see a McCartney concert that features ONLY solo/Wings material, with no Beatles songs. Even Wings Over the World tour had five or so Beatles songs. The tours to see McCartney for this sort of show would have been the shows he did in the UK and Europe in 1972 - 1974. I may be wrong, but I do not think he played ANY Beatles songs on those tours.

The closest Wings came to doing any Beatles related songs in '72 and '73 was the Beatles cover Long Tall Sally.

Yes! And it can be argued that was just a 50s cover tune. I would love to see a DVD of a complete show from that period. Not sure one exists.

Love the selections. Wouldn't be cool if after the OUT THERE tour Paul could do a special show with just Post Beatles Songs. Maybe he could do several shows over a couple of weeks and then put out a DVD featuring the best recordings. By the way, one song that I didn't see listed but would love to hear live is "Young Boy".

I agree with you with special show in small venue recorded for DVD. Understand it would not be feasible for him to do this but would love it. Yep, "Young Boy" would be great and I overlooked it - lol.

Nice one, your list is well-balanced, includes material from all stages of Paul's career. I like to make these lists more made of material from BOTR, Ram, OTG, FITD, and some other singles.

Totally cool, however I think it couldn't happen, he's not gonna make it, but the current set list gives more tan enough for a DVD, including stuff from 2010-2012, like The Night Before or Letting Go.

The only reason for that was they did not have much other material - lol.

Pretty good for the most part (loved "Lonely Road" from DR) but I don't think the first encore would be that strong. "Peace in The Neighborhood is too "mellow" to end a encore IMO. I am also not a fan of "C Moon" but that is just my opinion.

Like it very much !! IMO - change "Wanderlust" to "Take It Away" and "Dance Tonight" to "Run Devil Run" and it would be perfect - lol.
