Paul, I have never met you or seen you in concert. But I have followed your career since age 13. And you seem to be such a polite man with so much talent.

I'm not sure if you read this thread, but I'll take the chance that you do. I've had a time in my life something like what you are going through now. I can only say, you have to give yourself time, time to learn to enjoy your own company. In other words, you shouldn't expect to find happiness with someone else until you can be happy with yourself, by yourself. I think I can speak for the hold board in saying, you can find love again, but don't get in a rush this time! Also I'd love to see you write some new songs. I believe you have some of your best writting ahead of you , if you don't let this time of your life get you down. Wishing you all the best for a swift end to this ugly business! Let me say this again(it's been said many times before) I support you and send you my regrets that you couldn't have made it work out! Now move on with your life, do what makes you the happiest. Please take care of yourself. May you find peace this day and everyday and learn to laugh!*M*

Hi Paul, The first article has just appeared that there's been a divorce settlement. I hope that it's true, for your sake. I wish you peace and good health and a wonderful Christmas with your children and their children! Take care of yourself! Nancy

Having been through a very similar experience to Paul back in the 1990's I would urge him to stand firm and play tough...it goes against character I know but it is probably the only way to go in 2007. I'm due to see Mike McC soon at a project meeting so maybe I'll drop it into the conversation over a coffee and chocolate cake at our usual haunt in the refectory of the cathedral.....you need copious amounts of coffee and chocolate cake after the drag of interminable project meetings.

(I don't think Paul will ever read this message, but I post anyway... makes me happy) Dear Paul, I'm not trying to pretend that I'm your biggest fan, wich I am not. I think that if I was a star as great as you are, I would be scared of obsessive fans. Doesn't meen I don't like you. Just that I try to keep my money to pay my horse's pension (I don't think this is the right word, but anyway) instead of buying autographed t-shirts or I-don't-know-what. I discovered your work last summer. I think it's quite late, even if I'm only 15. My mother is an eternal Elvis lover and my father isn't very into music. I had already heard some Beatles songs, but I didn't listen well enough to see the beauty of it. I had no style before hearing my very first Beatles track, "Love Me Do". I couldn't get enough of it, even after listening to the whole 1 album. So began what I could call my "personnality discovery". I found who I am in your music, and I'd like to thank you for that. I'd also like to wish you health, to you and your children. I know you are having a hard time, and I'd like you to know that I would really want to help you if I could. But as you have nothing to do with me, all I can do is sitting, waiting and wishing. Finally, I want you to know that you're always getting better. You don't have to wonder on your talents and qualities. You're the most admirable man I've ever seen and I think you deserve all the best. All the songs you wrote are beautiful pieces of art and I hope people will still love your songs in a hundred years. You'll never get out of style. Music genies are generally undying in humans' hearts. Be happy, Mimi

Hi Paul. I would like to let you know that you are one of the best-looking performers that are still around since the 1960s. I'm just being honest! I might not know you personally, but I can see that we have a lot in common. You chose a Hofner, which is a violin bass guitar. I play a violin that's the same color as your hofner. We are both creative artists who draw and paint. We are both left-handed! What's the odds of that? Our personalities are similar too in that you are solitary, enthusiastic, charming, yet get offended sometimes. You are a human being with deep feelings for family and friends. I can see it on your face in all your pics that I see. A person can tell true satisfaction. You are all we have left of the Beatles besides Ringo. You always speak highly of the group and how they still live in your heart, as they do ours. You touched me as a child, and you touch me now. PLEASE WRITE US SOON!

Sir Paul, I've tried to be sensative to your problems(we don't talk about them in detail here) but now the holidays are over and things are somewhat settled down... can't you PLEASE post a simple HELLO to the people out here in syberland who would love to hear something, anything from you! As it has been posted in other threads"Paul is going through alot right now" I know, I was married to the same man for 25 yrs. and it ended very suddenly, I thought I'd never love again...but I was wrong! I'm now married to the kindest, loving, and smartest guy('cause he picked me ) "SPREAD THE WORD, LOVE" BTW I bought two of your books and the newest DVD And all the older CD's that I can find(not easy thing to do 'cause people don't want to part with them!) I should be saving for my retirement, but you are worth it! May you find peace this day and everyday and learn to laugh!*M*
