Paul McCartney 2016 Rumors
-
Could it be huge as its his official farewell tour....? (Doesnt mean he wont do single shows anymore - but maybe not a tour anymore)...
-
Paul will never have a farewell tour unless his health declines significantly. He will probably keel over dead one day on stage! (Hopefully not until age 90 or so!)

who knows...maybe that's exactly what he wants to NOT HAPPEN! and if it's so huge...maybe it'll last 5 years!
-
Maybe if we call this tour Summer Tour, he will perform in Czech As he did it on his Summer Tour 04 twenty years ago!

Hi, guys! I'm new here. English isn't my mother tongue, but I'll try my best to talk to you If you guys look back you will realize that Bob Gannon posts clues only about North American shows. I don't remember clues about South America or Europe. I think the only exception was the 2014 Budokan Show. So, what I want to say is that the numbers 308, 34, 8 and 22 make reference to North American shows. I think people who don't live in the US or Canada have to wait for more rumors. It seems that Paul will be rocking some arenas in NA this April. I think only in november he will come to South America or Europe.

I only want to know - do I have to start save money?

That would be such a horrible thing!

I thought 308 referred to Canada (number of members of the House of Commons - but turns out they've increased the number in the last election). Los Angeles is right at the 34° 8' 22'' N latitude line, but can't figure out how the 308 fits in...

Bob Gannon - it would be small or big tour? please, tell something and help us!
IMO it's impossible to say. Way too many unknowns with 8 plus months to go. But hell, if Harley Blues says huge, who am I to argue!!!! We know of 3 gigs in June, the question is does he fill in dates around it? Remember past practices about 6-7 shows per month as he has shared custody. Does this trend continue? I've heard no fewer than 5 or 6 rumors for July all USA, are they correct? I have heard of no rumors into August and beyond so who knows what goes on if anything? Rumor that he may be recording new album, does he take time off for that? So far at least 6 countries involved in rumors or confirmed? While the promoters work, I don't know if Paul knows yet until he gets the final schedule. I'm sure he doesn't worry about this part and let's his people do their job Haven't counted in Awhile but I think recent years average between 30 and 40 dates. Hopefully we'll see the same. If somebody else looked up the numbers and I'm wrong, please correct me

Let's face it, there's always far more rumors than ever work out so I tend not to name things that have high chances to be unreliable. You can't get worked up every one. I know we're all excited and I truly believe that the picture starts to get clearer this week

I suspect you are correct. Except for rare situations, I doubt Paul asks to play anywhere and just goes where he is told the gigs are.

Yes, but doesn't it happen in ... pairs? Europe always gets announced fully in one go, guess it's not as easy in the US.
I can't remember exactly how Europe was announced back in 2013 but it wasn't all in one go.
-
Harley, with guest vocalist standing in for AC/DC I'm happy I didn't buy those tickets now!
-
I'll give it to Paul's people, they really change things up from how many shows at once they announce to what time of day they do announcements. You can never 100% relax without fear of missing it. Same with touring, sometimes it goes in a logical path and others you're like WTF!!¡¡¡!
-
I would just like to know if there are going to be other European dates, I'm gonna feel a bit silly if I don't buy a festival ticket and he doesn't announce some other gigs!

Drives us CRAZY though!
