Paul McCartney 2016 Rumors

Puts paid to the nonsense Barries bundles up shows and little Paulie trots out to play them. McCartney is fully involved and active and has the final say. Also, again with the "Paul tries and likes to play new markets...places he hasn't been before..." :

I've just talked to Live Nation Spain and they told me the concert in Madrid is scheduled to June 2nd, announcement - next week.
Nice work!

Lol! I thought that was directed at me. I do not, have never had any affiliation with MPL. Just another fan that has been lucky enough to make good friends here and there. Some people on this board have met me

Pretty straight forward observations I'd have thought.

I wonder if Brisbane counts as a "new market"? 1975 was a long time ago!

Yeah, especially as he apparently has family here... Or at least did in 1993 when me missed out on The New World Tour.

Andrew he has family here. Brisbane, Sydney, ... brother Michael was here in Melbourne recently to visit his grandchild. About time Uncle Paul hauled ass to OZ.

Wow! Well, you would hope that there's...hope then! On a related point, I found this on a Japanese message board (this is a Google translation). Don't know whether the source is reliable, though... "I guy had heard the rough. Roughly. Late April to May the second half of the North American tour June-July the late festival appearances and European tour South America tour short mid-August to September September to late late October European tour The new single song announcement - set list? Nov-Dec North America tour & Beatles movie & new album announcement & new set list The second half of January 2017 Australia Beijing mid-February to March (Taiwan, Shanghai, Hong Kong) Japan South Korea April-May South America"

Mate...He'll be older and so will I. Typical if we get him when he's exhausted all other markets and we get a broken down joke. I want Paul NOW! ...and unlike other countries...he OWES us.

I can certainly relate to what you're saying, but after three years in which the "Out There" tour came and went without Paul even threatening to look sideways at a kangaroo, I'd settle for an Australian visit anytime on the "One on One" tour!

A thing I wrote for the Sioux Falls paper. I talked to the facility's GM, and he said a few interesting things, including more U.S. dates are expected and how Sioux Falls (a relatively small venue) got the concert. http://www.argusleader.com/story/news/2016/03/10/premier-center-paul-mccartney-one-on-one-tour/81603256/
more dates expected besides Sioux Falls and they already added dates Nice interview

Polish eventim has Macca on First place too. They told me to be patience. Something is going on. New announcements maybe on Monday
-
You might be right, it makes sence, but I would not bet on that eventim ticketalarm too much. From my experience it somehow reflects the reality on the German eventim, but since you wrote about the Czech one, I would not base any hopes on that. The Czech eventim is not the main ticket seller in our country, it never sells tickets for those big concerts. It sells tickets to some "smaller" concerts here and it sometimes also sells tickets to foreign events - even for those "big concerts," but with some delay. So for instance if there is a big concert in Austria, the Czech eventim might start to sell tickets one day later than the Austrian pre-sale. So the whole Czech ticketalarm might be because of Poland, Austria, Croatia...actually rather than because there will be something in The Czech Republic. I would love to be proved wrong of course. My estimate is, that if there is a McCartney gig in Prague, the tickets will not be sold by eventim.

The second half of January 2017 Australia
And then.... hell freezes over! BTW too much South America in your list. How am I to afford so many tickets?

That is a 15 month tour without a single month off. 2 European tours, 2 NA tours and 1 SA tour in 2016, followed by Australia, Asia and SA again in the first half of 2017? It would not sound right even if Paul was 40 years younger.
