maybe the fact that ticket demand especially in germany is sluggish/bad is the main reason that there are no further rumors/news for other eu gig's What is the situation for madrid/paris ticket sales?
Paul's team should forget about playing in huge football stadiums in Europe....indoor arenas are the best for Paul's shows...and theatres and clubs would be even better.....
I think Paul's team made a big mistake: you can't play 3 sold out gigs in stadiums in the very same country. And another mistake is to play Holland and Belgium which are very close. Very bad planning. Half Europe is cut off
I agree with you , but this morning I heard rumors of possibly going to Lucca, isn't it Steblap?
I would love to see him in Italy! I really hope he'll announce something soon!

It doesn't belong here, but any rumours of Ringo possibly doing a European tour? It has been quite a while and I would love to see him again.
I haven't heard anything more about Ringo, but from the article listed above (www.billboard.com/articles/news/6786036/ringo-star-and-his-all-starr-band-to-tour-in-2016) it sounds like only the USA and the "Pacific Rim" (probably meaning Japan, Australia and New Zealand?) are planned for 2016.

...Singapore...don't rule that out.

Interesting! I think that would be his first show there?

Let's face it, there is not even a sign of a credible rumor right now other than Summerfest for summer shows
Australia is now officially a rumour! Here's a link to a newspaper article from Adelaide, South Australia: http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/opinion/off-the-record-the-home-of-sa-political-gossip/news-story/6a0067cbdb07b4ff80ffb69bc0106b6a If Adelaide really is on the cards, then that suggests a proper tour of Australia. Big acts don't usually play there unless they're also playing Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and (probably) Perth.
...and Auckland, NZ He comes back he does a tour. No more of that 1 city government sponsored bullcrap.
Would be interesting to see how many he would do if he goes to Australia at all. Ticket sales were so brutal the last time he tried it could hurt the amount of shows he'd do this time. Would make sense to do all the big cities while he's there, but a weak response again would probably mean the last stop there ever again
Bob, in 93 he played two Melbourne shows to a total 120,000 people and Sydney had 3 arena shows AND 2 stadium shows! If ticket prices aren't mental - I believe the folks will turn up. Nostalgia acts always do well here. Well, most all touring acts do well here. The BIG X factor is he's burned us and ignored us since 02, so he might have soured a heap of fairweather fans. The diehards will come; no problem. THAT is the big question: has he burned all his goodwill here?
I agree that's the X factor, but I suspect that maybe it's not as big a factor as we think among the general public. After all, we're the ones who cared the most about the cancellation last time and may or may not have felt bitter for a while. In the end, a lot of people just want to have a good night out and don't have to be "fans" in the sense that we are to buy a ticket in their home town. Also, there's a whole generation of young Beatles fans (probably 2 or 3) who were too young to go in 1993. They, and their parents and grandparents will want to go, thinking (possibly rightly) that this is their last chance to see a living Beatle who's not Ringo. I predict that, if it happens, it will be hugely successful....
I hope he comes to Australia and that is a whopping success. I don't think Paul will forgive a 2nd poor reaction there. Don't think you'll see him again if not hugely successful

Thanks, Bob. I am constantly amazed at how successful tours by much lesser artists can be in Australia, so I'm sure that the right promoter would have a massive hit on their hands. Although Australia is a big country with a small population, a lot of those people are concentrated in a small number of cities and seem to like a good concert. I think that the focus on one city in 2002 made the ticket price too high (if you have many trucks full of equipment, it costs an awful lot to lug it all the way to Australia, so you need to do a decent-sized tour to share out the costs). The price hike from 1993 to 2002 ("only" 9 years) seemed incredible at the time. Also, I think the expectation that it will probably be the last chance to see him will help drive sales, as it did with the Stones in 2014 (though I suspect they will be back).

Cheers, buddy! I have my fingers and toes crossed for all you beautiful Australians. On the Argentinian subject for those of you interested in coming, all 3 concerts are likely to be standing admission in front of the stage and seated admission on the sides of the stadium. You're welcome, Carlos

That's GREAT. Cheaper, and warmer crowd. I hope they'll announce the shows this week.

That's annoying, was the last time he played the UK in 2011? I would quite like to see just because he's a Beatle but will probably only go once. Also if Toto was playing Africa. I really hope Ringo comes to the UK though

Yes, it seems that prices will range from 1.600 to 4.000 pesos. Is that considered unusually expensive in Argentina?

According to the promoter in Rosario, the chances of a concert there on May 21 have increased, due to the fact they have sorted out the financial issues, including a decision by the local government to let go of the usual 5,5% fee. http://www.notife.com/469455-rosario-la-posibilidad-de-que-venga-paul-mccartney-esta-mas-cerca/

Yes, prices are what I've expected. Pista Prime around US$220.

There's a good chance Paul might finally come to China. I'll be out of the country in May, so that's the only way he'll ever possibly play here.

Do they have Hot Sound Package in Argentina and if so, how much in U.S. $?

I'm sure there will be a soundcheck package available. I assume it will cost around $1,300-$1,500 dollars, but we can't be sure until it's actually on sale. From what I read today, there will be no chairs on the field. The front half will be more expensive and the back half will be cheaper, but everyone will be standing.

That's what I've said on the previous page of this thread Nobody knows soundcheck prices but if I was a betting man, I'd say around the same values Carlos guessed.

Hopefully they will offer an upgrade package again, meaning those with a regular ticket can pay a separate amount and join the soundcheck.

I think that due to logistics only Pista Prime goers can attend soundcheck but I've been wrong before.

Usually yes, but in 2014 SloTix allowed anyone with a ticket in any section to attend the soundcheck in Uruguay, Chile, Peru and Ecuador by paying the upgrade fee. After the soundcheck was over you had to return to your regular seat. By the way, a bunch of new info has surfaced on social networks about the tour in Argentina, including the vendor: Ticketek.
