Paul McCartney 2016 Rumors
-
Not to give anything away, but there is such a huge importance on outdoor shows now and it makes me wonder if there will be a whole different stage design for an outdoor show. Like what the Rolling Stones have been doing lately where their indoor show is on a stage in the shape of the tongues and their outdoor show is under golden archways and screens. Could Paul have a completely different stadium show from the arena shows?

I wouldn't count on it. I imagine the outdoor setup will be nearly identical to the indoor arena setup, only that there will be even larger auxillary screens on the far sides of the stage. Plus the usual larger fireworks display for Live And Let Die.

The Stones only used the tongue-shaped walkway / stage design during 2012-13 shows. Since then it's been a pretty straightforward runway into the crowd, so nothing special really. Same design at arena and stadium shows.

Two stadium shows in one city?
Hello from Buenos Aires

if it was just two stadium shows in Philly only, that would not be unusual. But add the show in Hershey AND the show in NJ, that would be four stadium shows in that vicinity during the same leg.

It's certainly asking a lot of the area...

I really wish my source could give me a venue to see if the DC shows are at Verizon or Nat's. The McCartney camp is insane to do more stadiums in the north.

If he's back at Nats Park, Philly will be my only stop this summer. The only incentive I would have to catch a second date would be an arena gig close to home.

Well everybody, things have changed and it seems like Italy's out of the game for now. Promoters have announced that negotiations to bring Paul's new tour to Lucca have FAILED, adding that there might be a chance for next year, although I find it quite hard (and not really reliable) to predict what will happen next year I guess Promoters just needed an easy way out, they did a terrible job this time around. Well, not that I care too much since the setlist sounds pretty much the same as always, it's starting to get boring. But it's a pity for those fans who have never had the chance to see him live yet.

One On One setlist was really disappointing

I feel like the setlist changes are good, but there needs to be more changes in the second half of the show.

"ONE ON ONE".... new tour??? no is "OUT THERE" part. 2 setlist disappointing. There will be no show in Lucca!!!!! .... double disappointment, really wait more than a month to travel to Lucca ... and now ... nothing. OKAY! I'll be at the show in Madrid on June 2 .... and "THE END" I think Paul has become too comfortable and not feel like experimenting with new songs in concert. Does anyone think a big change in the setlist of this new tour?

Any hints of other other dates in the tour program ?

Hello from Buenos Aires
Haha, you guys don't count because the demand is always insane in Buenos Aires!! (just kidding) I was there in February for the Stones, best crowd I have EVER seen at a gig. You guys know how to have a good time!! La Plata Stadium was a pain in the ass to get to though...

RMartinez:
I guess there are no people living between the west coast and Little Rock.
He wants to stay as far away from New Mexico as possible.

We are good with that.

Can you blame him? New Mexico and Utah have all those deserts and mountains. Obviously, anyone would rather go to Fresno.
