Anyone have a free ticket or a ticket they want to sell for less than $50 to a poor teacher who's writing a book about Paul fans and concerts? I need a ticket for the Monday show and am pretty wiped out financially, sadly... ops:

Hi Jen, saw your message and looked over on Stubhub where tickets for that show start in the low 50s. I may be going the Stubhub route myself for D.C., if things work out where I can make it. Good luck.

Jen...sent you a PM.

They're all in the 90-100 dollar range at this point.

Got it! Thanks, Tom. I'm still trying to find a way into the show, but if it doesn't work out, it's not the end of the world.

Not the only one who's on the financial precipice having forked out £100 on a Billy Joel ticket this week. I have a London trip to see the Who plus 4 star hotel coming up on the 17th plus Verona on the 25th and another 4 star hotel so i'm on the brink too, plus the spending money for 3 days in Italy, phew empty pockets.

Sounds like a bunch of great shows and great experiences! Enjoy the trips, and then eating from the dumpsters afterwards.

No worries, I'll be eating in the restaurant and bringing out some leftovers for Boycie, so he doesn't have to dumpster dive

Does anyone have a ticket anywhere near the front that they are looking to sell. I have a ticket in section 4, but it's so much further away than I wanted to get for this show and I'll be even further back for Italy The ticket sale caught me at a really bad time... now I'm feeling sad that I didn't get a closer seat... Paul is my absolute favourite artist and I have probably the worst seat of any concert that I've been to in the past year. I signed on exactly at the time of the sales too!! It's so so sad because of the number of scalpers in this area. You just can't get a good seat!! Final comments... There are sooooo many fans of Hope of Deliverance around here, and I Hope he Delivers on that song for this show...
-
Yeah! Just got great seats for the show on the 10th. Makes up for the bad seats that I was able to get as a fan in the presale for tomorrow nights show. Now I wonder why these weren't for sale to the fans?
-
Leaving tomorrow-will be in Brooklyn late afternoon! My first concert of this tour! YAY!!!!
-
I hope everyone stays dry and has a great show tonight.

No opening act. Scrolling film (similar to the one used the last few years but some diff pix) starts at around 8:00 pm and Paul hits the stage around 8:25 -8:30, although he was running late at at least one of the Tulsas.

Anyone that went the first night and sat in the front sections, do you know how many rows are in the front sections? I hear it's actually less than normal because of the riser for Blackbird and Here Today (and thus, the front row is farther away).

We were in the first row of section F3 for yesterday's concert. While I didn't count the rows, I would say there were anywhere from 3 to 5 less rows in the front sections due to the "riser" on this tour.

I thought the riser was cool.
