This light guided me through my childhood years and into the woman I am today... she is with me and in all I do, a true change agent that was so ahead of her time that she will never truly have known how she inspired so many people... a naturally beautiful, kind and loving woman... I celebrate you mum. Every single day in my children’s faces and innocence I see you and I will hold you in my heart on this day, your birthday... lovely Linda, you are loved and missed more than I could ever put into words xx

That is so sweet! I'm sure Linda is still with us all in spirit.

Love that photo, Oobu! Wonder if it was taken on one of her birthdays many years ago.
Not sure when this was taken, but it's a great photo of her and the flowers are lovely!

Yes, totally thudworthy photo!   Absolutely gorgeous, and I love the sideburns and how his hair is longer at the back. It's such a good photo of both of them!   Here's another slightly different pose for this photo set :

May 4, 1969, London. Wrap party for "The Magic Christian" (movie that Ringo had a part in).
-
Wow - you’d think Linda would look more pregnant in that pic, since Mary was born Aug. 28, 1969.
Fun fact: Jeremy Lloyd was in The Magic Christian. He was the tall dancer in AHDN and was also in Help!

She was about six months pregnant, and was thinking the same thing, that she didn't look like she's that far along in the photo.
Thanks for the info about Jeremy Lloyd. Didn't know he was briefly married to Joanna Lumley at one time.
Edited to add:Â After reading more about The Magic Christian, didn't know Paul had composed songs used in the film, that were performed by Badfinger.

Found this photo of Paul, Linda, Heather, with Mal Evans, visiting Ringo on the set of "The Magic Christian" 1969
From book "Paul McCartney, Many Years From Now" by Barry Miles.

Yeah - Come And Get It was in the movie. I have the Badfinger LP Magic Christian Music. (And all their other albums too) Only 3 songs off it were in the movie.

A sweet family photo, circa 1978
