If I was Linda, I would have been scared taking this picture "Be careful, Paul! Don't slip! Sorry, but I've gotta go inside the house after I take this, I can't look!!"
There are certainly a few Health & Safety issues there. I just hope Paul had enough green paint left in the pot to finish the job?
That's something to think about... looks like it was a pretty small pot of paint, but he probably couldn't have had a much larger one up there! he must have had to go up and down quite a bit filling the bucket. Glad he wasn't hurt though!

Yeah, good old Paul “misremembering!”

And to think some fans get uptight because Paul won't introduce new songs into his live set. If he can't remember the name of his dog he's hardly likely to be able to remember a bunch of new lyrics.

Anybody (Kestrel?) know the year this was taken?

I would guess about 1992 or thereabouts. I'm sure that was a cover of a Club Sandwich but having quickly gone through them I couldn't find it. So maybe it was an inside photo? If / when I get more time I'll have a trawl through them.

I would guess about 1974.... when they were staying in Nashville..... she had the same hairstyle then, but could be a few years later of course. It also looks like it could have been taken around the time son James was born too.
This is another photo of them, with Heather, taken in Nashville.

Love those, especially the one with Linda and Paul smiling!!! I like Linda's hair like that. Somewhere there's a nice video of Stella speaking about her mum and how she cut her own hair... it was the Happy Snaps FT.com video, that now needs you to sign up to look at. It was a really nice video about the Polaroid Diaries... can't figure out how to post it, sorry.

Is this it? I just Googled, copied link and pasted here. The 2nd link will perhaps let you read/see it by answering a one question/poll. The 1st link you may have to sign in to Twitter.

Yes, it's good to remember her! She was such a good person, and was such a good influence in making the world a better place. Her memory still inspires us all.
This photo was posted on her official instagram today, with caption "Sussex, England, 1980s"
