Thanks, I thought it was great too! Can see the photographer's reflection in his shades
Speaking of cool shades...
this was found at worthpoint.com, and caption says it was from the collection of Rose Martin, the McCartneys' housekeeper, 1973

Thanks for posting that, Nancy, so everyone can see it. Still don't understand why it didn't show up.
This is a lovely photo of Paul and Linda at the film premiere of "Isadora" in London in March, 1969. Love how they're holding hands, and how he has his hand in his jacket, to me that shows that he was quite happy and content, in a male pride sort of way.
(from Alamy Photo Archive - https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-beatles-files-1968-paul-mccartney-with-wife-linda-at-film-premiere-19530876.html ) There wasn't an exact date on the caption of this photo, but the IMDB says the London premiere was on March 4, 1969.
I hate these dang watermarks... the "a" is right over Linda's nose!
Has anyone seen the film "Isadora"? (about dancer Isadora Duncan, starring Vanessa Redgrave.) Loved the film, but ever since I saw it, and its tragic ending, I don't wear extra long scarves anymore!

^ Yes, damn those watermarks!
️
I never saw that movie.

Great picture of Paul and Linda, her beauty shines through that watermark!
Saw that movie Leslie and I had the same thought about not wearing long scarves again either.

It was an interesting movie... Isadora Duncan was a "free spirit" who performed free form dancing... which made her life story an interesting film for the flower children of the 1960s... If a person doesn't know that much about Isadora Duncan or her life's story, the ending came as a surprise... so don't want to spoil it for you if you'd like to see it.
Found this photo on Ebay, that Linda took at his home in London in 1968. From the expression on Paul's face it looks like he may have been discussing some unpleasant Beatle business..... Linda must have witnessed some of that, but in later years when asked about why the band broke up she'd always remain private and say, "You'd have to ask them!" That was probably the best answer anyway. The breakup of the band was like a divorce, and when that happens, people can guess and give opinions or speculate the reasons why, but the only ones who really know are the people in the marriage.

Thanks, L2T! Yes, we'll never wear long scarves again after seeing that!
It's interesting that the photo was taken just a week or so before they got married. They must have been working on their special plans at that time.... even though they decided to have a small, private ceremony. They both look really happy!
Nancy, in the photo you posted, Paul looks like he might have put on a few pounds temporarily during Linda's pregnancy... he still looks adorable though! I imagine if she wanted ice cream, he had to have a bowl too.... he probably wanted to share and experience everything she was going through, and that included the cravings! I can picture him being a good Daddy, and very patient dealing with a screaming baby with a loaded diaper, etc... He probably enjoyed everything about it.

I was thinking the same think, that Paul gained some weight along with Linda!

Isn't there some kind of a syndrome where the husband feels all the wife's pregnancy symptoms called "Sympathetic pregnancy?"
He must have just been so happy and excited for the baby, which is perfectly understandable.
Found another photo taken by Linda of Paul talking on the phone, at his home in London, 1968. It goes with the one already posted above. From a recent Ebay auction.

This is a sweet photo of Linda, Mary, Stella and James with Rose Martin. It was posted on Instagram at a Linda fan page.
She passed away in September 2013, and Paul paid tribute to her:
https://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/pauls-tribute-to-friend-rose-martin
"We had sad news recently that our dear friend Rose Martin passed away at the age of 92. Rose was my housekeeper since the early 60s and for many years looked after us and our children. She was a very classy lady with a mischievous sense of humour. She was fiercely loyal and our family and many friends will miss her dearly."
Not sure if Rose ever married or had a family, but there's been a lot of her photos and memorabilia for sale since her death. I think her heirs (whoever they were) realized they could make a small fortune selling off her collection, but hopefully they'd have wanted Paul and family to have any personal family photos.
