Remembering Linda

Oh look at the Wings earrings and necklace. Did they ever sell those? Just was looking at the photo that I had bought of Linda from the Glasgow photo exhibit of hers. I’m thinking of getting a larger mat and frame for it. I don’t remember seeing any Wings earrings at that exhibit, or I would have bought them.
Paul has the best smiles when he’s with Linda!
Hi Love2Travel, I think that Wings necklace has been for sale at different times on Ebay... perhaps it was something sold to the members of the Wings Fun Club back in the day.. would be great to have one!
Yes, it's always nice to see Paul smiling. He and Linda always looked in love no matter when or where their photos were taken. I feel they were true soulmates. That kind of love isn't found very often, so they were truly blessed in having found each other.
Because of what he's holding I'm guessing photo below is from 1979, at the time of release for "Back to the Egg"

Yes they must have been soulmates for sure
They moved in synch it seemed. They always had their arms around each other.
That looks like a large egg, was Linda pregnant, I wonder?

I don't think Linda was pregnant at that time, their son James was born in 1977. Would be interesting if Paul started writing Back to the Egg a few years earlier when she was expecting, hadn't thought of that possibility before!

The last time she was pregnant was in 1977 with James. This was 1979 (promotion for Back To The Egg)
Sorry, just noticed Leslie already answered.

Given that Linda was pregnant when Wings recorded I'm Carrying in May 1977, I'm still surprised that Paul didn't let Linda take the lead vocal !!

Not sure what recording session this is from, possibly 1973??

^ Her hair is a lot shorter than usual in 1973 (remember how long it was in the James Paul McCartney special?) I'm thinking earlier like maybe 1971? Kestrel, your thoughts?

I would guess at March/April 1971 when they were finishing off Ram in LA. Paul had shaved his beard off by then. It could be 1972 though, during the Red Rose Speedway sessions.

Thanks! I think it's 1971 when Paul's hair was shorter.

Love this photo
Hadn't seen this one before. Seems like Paul wore the same winter hat in a Christmas photo one year.

Paul and Linda's wedding, March 12, 1969.
Hard to believe it's been fifty two years!
-
^ And hard to believe there's a photo from that day I've never seen!

If Paul was aiming at that dog then he missed it.

I didn't even see that until you mentioned it - that's his dog Eddie!

I didn't see Eddie either! I'm glad he stayed close to them and didn't get lost. He probably wouldn't have wandered too far though.

'There you go, Eddie'? There's a nice little song Paul wrote about him that has never been officially released.

Yes, the one & the same. Leslie, oobu and I were just emailing each other about that song.
I love how he added Tiger, Nigel, Bernard and even Mimi, John's Siamese cat!

Love the Academy Awards photo, must have been a magical evening for them. They look so lovely together!
I imagine Linda was wearing faux fur.
