They were so cute together!
This is more smoldering!

Oh I love that photo, it's such a good one of both of them! Was it taken in Scotland after they were married (as publicity for the McCartney album) or was it from 1969 during the "Let it Be" film sessions... Whenever it was taken, it must have been a very happy time for them, in spite of what he was going through with The Beatles.
-
No, it was taken in the fall of 1968. He started growing a beard as soon as she arrived in mid-Sept. so by January 1969, his hair and beard were longer (sorry, but I didn’t like the way he looked in Let It Be movie)
Same day:

They were very at ease in front of the camera.

Thanks for the info, Nancy! He must have really been taken with Linda, to want a photo session with her. Don't think he had one with Jane or any other woman he'd been involved with prior to that... that we know about anyway!
Have always thought he looked dreamy in "Let it Be"

I think the reason for that is because they were always so comfortable and at ease with each other.

Yes, he had a photo session with Jane.
This is one pic from it:

Most happily married couples are pretty much at ease with eachother but this couple always had a camera in front of them. If it wasn't Linda, someone else was always there keeping track of everything they did.

That's very true! Maybe they just got so used to being photographed, that it was no big deal anymore and they just became comfortable with it.

Paul and Linda seem so much more relaxed and comfortable in their 1968 photos than Paul and Jane did. There's more of a serious or intense feeling when you look at Paul and Jane's photo. Just my opinion anyway

I think you’re probably right. This is the only one from that session where they’re smiling:
Super serious here:

How people look into a camera can also be the result of the photographer. I was in a wedding once where the photographer was drunk, and had gotten to the wedding late... it was an evening ceremony... and he kept saying inappropriate things to the bride and groom during the group photos etc. The bride and groom's parents look angry in all of the photos because of that, while the rest of us were either laughing outloud or trying not to laugh... so anyone not knowing that would think the parents weren't happy about the marriage or something, lol
Don't want to pass judgment on why Paul and Jane photograph differently than Paul and Linda. Just know that Paul and Linda seemed to be two halves of a whole, and were each other's mates for life, and their love and happiness shows in every photo.

Oh, I totally agree!

Oh my goodness, what a gorgeous pic of him! *swoon* Thanks, Nancy! Of course, he probably looks so gorgeous because they truly were happy and it shows Linda was always lovely as well.

Could your reaction have anything to do with the fact that he is practically naked and showing off those lovely forearms and legs?
On the road in Scotland. Note he’s wearing another one of his famous sweater vests!

Possibly! I'm shy and blush easily, but I'm definitely not dead!
But he'll always be our sweet little Bathing Beauty, lol

Wedding day. Where the heck did that kitten come from?
