Remembering Linda

Linda (holding doll) as a child with her parents and siblings. Can't help noticing how much daughter Mary looks like her grandmother in this photo.
-
Came across this photo this morning. Hadn't seen it before, and thought it was lovely of them both

I think they're holding Stella. Seems like I've seen another photo taken at the same time (in front of station wagon) where you can see the baby.

Love this one, too. It's amazing how strong they both were, and how they were able to smile, knowing how sad it must have been for him, at the thought that he might not have much more time with her. She was so courageous for putting on such a brave face right up to the end. Have to admire them both for holding up so well, and being strong for each other and their family.

Yes, that would be Stella as I believe the pic is from 1972 or 1973.
Thanks for posting the actual photos so I can save them!

With one of her beloved horses and Martha (1973?)

^ That’s not Martha. One of her offspring. Martha had dark fur all on her back, not just that small patch.

Thanks, Nancy! For some reason I always think of Martha's puppies as staying puppies
and haven't seen many photos of them all grown up.

The one on the cover of the Paul Is Live album is one of her offspring (Arrow), but you probably knew that.

This photo has a little something for everyone! (Leslie: forearm alert!) Mustache lovers, mullet lovers. Gotta love 1974! (OMG, I was 19 then and saw George Harrison in concert that year!)
