Some very unfamiliar titles there! Hmmm. By the way: I thought the Lulu track was called "Inside Thing." Anyway, I see you made good use of your Flaming Pie CD- singles!

a few years back, i done my own McCartney years, i update every time i have enough new material, last song, i think i updated the discs with, was "I Want To Come Home" disc 1 1963 to 1967 disc 2 1967 to 1970 disc 3 1970 to 1973 disc 4 1973 to 1975 disc 5 1975 to 1979 disc 6 1979 to 1984 disc 7 1984 to 1997 disc 8 1997 to 2010

I wish I had the time; between my career, familycommitments and other priorities there's just not enough hours in the day. I'm able to retire in 2018 (55) so perhaps then I will find the time.

Well, Beatles-wise I mentioned my version of the Beatles Ballads compilation, edited as follows, and fitting on a CD: 1. Things We Said Today 2. Two of Us ("Charles Hawtrey" intro edited out) 3. You Never Give Me Your Money (final 11 seconds deleted, and with short fade-out) 4. I'll Follow the Sun 5. We Can Work It Out 6. Your Mother Should Know 7. Baby's in Black 8. In My Life 9. Yesterday 10. Norwegian Wood 11. Do you want to know a secret 12. For no one 13. Michelle 14. Nowhere Man 15. You've got to hide your love away 16. Across the Universe 17. If I fell 18. Hey Jude 19. Something 20. The Fool on the Hill 21. Till There Was You 22. The Long and Winding Road 23. Here Comes the Sun 24. Blackbird 25. And I love her 26. She's Leaving Home 27. Here, there and everywhere 28. Let It Be (version from Past Masters) I already mentioned this on a thread a couple of weeks ago though

This is actually a playlist on my iPod called "Get Happy" 1 Dance 'Til We're High 2 Lovers In a Dream 3 Mama's Little Girl 4 India 5 Whole Life 6 Heal the Pain 7 Love In Song 8 Christian Pop 9 Fairy Tale 10 Good Day Sunshine 11 Calico Skies 12 The End 13 Hope of Deliverance 14 Same Love 15 Too Much Rain 16 Letting Go 17 Tomorrow 18 Junk 19 The Unbelievable Experience 20 Bip Bop/Hey Diddle 21 Watercolour Guitars 22 The Long and Winding Road 23 Palo Verde 24 A Certain Softness 25 A Love For You 26 C Moon 27 Winedark Open Sea 28 English Tea 29 Long Haired Lady 30 Hope of Deliverance 31 Hold Me Tight/Lazy Dynamite/Hands of Love/Power Cut 32 Great Day 33 Beautiful Night
So far, these tracklists are amazingly unique! Which version of "Letting Go" do you have in this playlist? Is "Same Love" one of the Flaming Pie singles B-sides? Love "Winedark Open Sea!"
Letting Go is from the Venus and Mars album Same Love is off Cold Cuts I also love Windedark Open Sea...sometimes I have to play it a few times in a row, because once just isn't enough... Hey Audi, I wanted to ask you about Hang Glide... I've never heard of that one?! Where do you get that one? I did some hang gliding when I was in my 20's... did Paul Hang Glide? or is it referring to something else? Just curious...
When I was in junior high, my best buddy -- a super McCartney fan who converted me to Maccaism -- had the 12" single of "Spies Like Us." "Hanglide" was one of the other songs on it. We used to do a fake radio-show back then, which we recorded, and "Hanglide" is among the songs we used as our intro/theme. Ah, memories.
"Hanglide" was from the 12"/10" of "Press" rather than "Spies like us" I think...

That would make a fine album, seriously!

As for the many fine-looking McCartney playlists posted here, I'm going to have to build up my collection quite a bit more before I can make any of them, and I'm guessing the same for you Herc!
