New Fireman Album
-
Thoughts? What would you like to see?
-
I like to see it.. but seriously, I know that it will be good, the three past albums with Youth are wonderful, I love all of them, so why the next album wouldn't be?
-
I embrace the concept that "The Fireman can do anything." Therefore, my expectations would be minimal because -- when you think about it -- all three Fireman albums are starkly different from each other, and that's the point, actually. My mind is wide open. Still, out-doing Electric Arguments is going to be a helluva challenge.

No thanks, I'll take a "regular" Paul album -- preferably soon!!!

Agreed. I did enjoy those albums to a certain extent, but as a fan for over 25 years, and considering Paul is in the twilight years of his career, I would greatly prefer an album (or albums) with the melodic assurance and eclecticism of say, London Town. Tug of War, Off The Ground instead of the singular style of The Fireman, the recent 'Nirvana' collaborationof the KITB album.
-
.......sorry, I meant OR the KITB album
-
I'm alway enjoyed the freedom that the Fireman albums have allowed Paul.... Kind of reminds me of his paintings... I know everyone is waiting for a proper album too...so maybe after that ...
-
Memory Almost Full was the last proper pop/rock studio album with Paul's name in the title, and that came out in 2007. So I think we're due another proper album for Summer 2013!
-
He could release any album, actually, and call it a 'Fireman' project...EA was surely a departure from his previous 2 fireman projects and in fact a blend of his 'fireman' and 'Paul the rockstar' personas
-
I get the feeling Paul kind of regretted calling Electric Arguments a Fireman project after the reviews were so positive. Particularly since this caused the release not to be noticed as much by the public who have no idea in most cases about how great his work since Chaos and creation has been not counting his kiss my arse album.
