.. ....Listening to NEW-- after that last track.. I was going to replay the album.. and than a secret song not listed began to play called "SCARED" wow! if this song isn't hauntingly brilliant--- One of Paul's best reords he's ever written in years~ me thinks anyways... I wonder how many hidden tracks or bonus tracks are on the NEW album ie: some released in US- Europe- Japan.. will there be hidden tracks for each market? --- albums not out yet -- has anyone found hidden or bonus tracks yet?

There's only one on the deluxe U.S. CD, "Scared." I think all the talk about more than one is speculation. It doesn't make sense that he'd do that.

I've got a rundown halfway down this page: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=87167&start=885 Besides "Scared," which is hidden on every CD, three bonus tracks are floating around out there: Turned Out Get Me Out Of Here Struggle No one knows what happened to "Secret Life of a Party Girl"!

hum... but if there's alternative versions floating around-- who's to say those won't be released also.. cos the albums so GREAT-- people would want everything possible especially the hard core fans~

I heard Struggle on the Japanese CD is an alternate name for the only secret track I know of - Scared. Whether it's an official name or a guess from one of the many early track-lists that have circulated I don't know. Problem with a secret track is it isn't listed Martin

Regular album ends with 'Road' and has an unlisted 'hidden track' called 'Scared'. Deluxe edition album ends with 'Road', then has two bonus tracks called 'Turned Out' and 'Get Me Out Of Here', then has an unlisted 'hidden track' called 'Scared'. The Japanese CD edition ends with 'Road', then has three bonus tracks called 'Turned Out', 'Get Me Out Of Here' and the exclusive 'Struggle', and then has an unlisted 'hidden track' called 'Scared'. 'Struggle' and 'Scared' are NOT the same songs.

What I'm hearing is that on, let's say "unofficial" copies, the song marked as "Struggle" is actually "Scared" so that song appears twice. This is what is causing the confusion. "Struggle" is a song that's been described as something you could listen to at "ear-zinging volume," while "Scared" is tender and quiet. Haven't heard either one yet!

Exactly. Japanese CD just isn't 'out there' yet. The internet kiddies messed this one up big time, named the deluxe edition with two bonus tracks and one hidden track "Japanese version with 3 bonus tracks" and that's where the confusion lies. Oh, and, btw, from the deluxe edition booklet: "Together we finished more tracks than appear on the album. They will, no doubt, show up somewhere sooner or later". Here comes 'New(est)', the re-issued deluxe edition .

That quote from Paul is pretty bold, isn't it? He hasn't said that about the Geoff Emerick sessions from a few years ago, which produced only "(I Want To) Come Home" as a released track. I'm holding out for 'New(est)'!

'Secret Life Of A Party Girl' simply never was announced officially. The Mark Ronson-produced song is no hoax whatsoever though, mentioned in many interviews as highlight from the sessions, as how it always goes with McCartney-releases. Regular album has: 1. Save Us 2. Alligator 3. On My Way To Work 4. Queenie Eye 5. Early Days 6. New 7. Appreciate 8. Everybody Out There 9. Hosanna 10. I Can Bet 11. Looking At Her 12. Road (hidden track, 13. Scared) Deluxe edition has: 1. Save Us 2. Alligator 3. On My Way To Work 4. Queenie Eye 5. Early Days 6. New 7. Appreciate 8. Everybody Out There 9. Hosanna 10. I Can Bet 11. Looking At Her 12. Road - 13. Turned Out 14. Get Me Out Of Here (hidden track, 15. Scared) Add 'Struggle' as 15th for the Japanese edition, just before hidden track 'Scared'. It's fairly easy, haha.
