I went to the three UK shows in December, had a great time! I touched some rocks in Scotland and ended up in the 1600s. Came back for the London show. Great seeing Ringo and Ron Wood. Got stuck for several days because they cancelled flights at Gatwick, drones.
Came home with bad cough, I think may be flu. Back to work Wednesday.🤪

Hi Podgie!!
So glad your flux-capacitor is working and now we're both in 2019. LOL! Sorry you caught the crud. Hope you feel better soon.
Well, it's been a long and winding road across the universe and back. I've seen Ringo a few times and was finally able to get to Las Vegas, twice, and see Beatles Love, twice, as well as Penn & Teller. Teller and I had an interesting convesation about Harpo Marx (they both can talk, who knew? LOL.) Also saw the Austrailian Pink Floyd show. Awesome.
Have been creating all over the place. Oil paintings. Videos. AR/VR. Animation. Fun stuff.
They won't allow photos? Dang it. There must be a way...she said with a grin.
Hmmm....
I am frustrated with this new webpage. I have trouble logging in. Do PMs exist? Where are they? What really turned me off was not being able to link photos without paying. I just let it all go.

Click on the little envelope icon in the top right to access PMs.
Like I told you in my post earlier, you need to get on another photo-hosting site and transfer your pics to it. I pay $2.49/month to Photobucket for no ads and I am able to link photos here with them for some reason. (Shh...don’t tell them!) But I do have 2 other PB accounts under different email addresses that do NOT allow me to link photos. Weird.

Hi Podgie, it's nice to meet you, if we haven't met before. I have really had fun reading some of your creative work, that was on the old board. Sorry you've been ill, but its great you got to see Paul in concert. You said you touched some rocks in Scotland and ended up in the 1600s... you must be an Outlander fan! (I was for the first two seasons... but after she came back to 1945 again, the plot got a bit confusing for me, lol) Hope you can get some photo posting issues resolved soon, we enjoy your creativity and sense of humor.

When I touched the stones I was shooting for the 1960s, but I overshot. The show is 1700s, Clare just met George Washington. It definitely was better when they were in Scotland, but still an interesting show.
Not sure if I am going to persue photo posting, too much work...and may be all for naught.

I see what you mean. They deleted the link to my New Peradventure of (you-know-who) animated youtube video I posted in here.
Moderator edit:
No link was removed. As most of the regular users of this board know, unfortunately, embedded videos (that is what has been posted) disappear after 30 minutes. This is the link to the video:

I have all the seasons on DVD and watch it religiously! Even entered a contest on Omaze to meet Sam Heughan who plays Jamie Fraser! I have all the books too and a I watch the show first, then read and catch up after the season is over. I’m almost done with book 3 and there are eight books!

WHY have the option to embed if it doesn't work correctly. Are ANY of these problems being looked at???

The reason I was confused was because I saw no post with an animated YouTube video until today! Nothing at all was there last night when I posted. And Podgie had talked a while back about his stuff being deleted from Comcast, so I was thinking of that. Btw, your video was cute.
In answer to your questions, I don’t know, and doesn’t look like it!

This is crazy with items disappearing & others being removed. We don't know what anyone is talking about anymore.
Wait. Or is that my real life?

Hi oobu24, well, yes, as a retired moderator having worked three and half years on this board I did have some insight into...backstage activities here. But it has been awhile and I did check the Peace in the Neighborhood post before I posted and found nothing regarding YouTube videos let alone embedded videos auto-disappearing after 30 minutes. Then again that board rules post hasn't been updated since 2004. As you said, why have the option to embed a YouTube video if it doesn't work or isn't allowed.
I know the mods have the ability to change large items to links. So when the video posted after the "Here's a new peradventure..." line completely disappeared without being changed to a link and only the link to the Daily Mail article was left, I assumed it had been...surgically removed.
So, thank you (((Mods))) for adding back the video link and my apple-orgies for assuming.

Ha...no I don't remember discussing the pic. He does seem to do that quite often though. Even recently in the St Barts pics. I used to think it was because he's always holding a guitar pic but he seems to be branching out.

I didn't know that you were a mod at one time. Like you said ..instructions should be updated or even better...the problems should be fixed. Most sites have things happen automatically but not so much on this board. Like automatic spell check or posting a link to something does not go to a clickable link. And you have already encountered the disappearing youtube. Good luck navigating around the new site.

Yes, he does seem to be a stealth-flipper. I know in England it's two-fingered (and as bird=girl, "flipping the bird" must have a completely different connotation ). Paul's flipping is bi-lingual.
