Great Podge! Hey...can we help you since your friend Tori is no longer here? What can we do?
If you go back and look at the early days of this thread, Tori was a driving force. Her photos were terrific, and her sense of humor was the same as mine. Quite often we would even post the same idea at the same time. I miss her alot. Anyone know what happened to her? Podgie (suffering from Tori-withdrawl) Monkey

Cool poster podgie. There will be an re-make of Jellow Submarine Podgie by Disney. I do like this idea. Very cool. I do like animations anyway. Even if the voices are not from The Beatles. I wanna tell everybody on this thread also that I'm going to a very expensive holiday to my birth island Aruba from 4 sep- 18 september. Just don't know if I'm gonna post for two weeks. I'm happy for all Macca fans who did see Paul. But mine dream is gonna be thrue, I haven't seen Aruba for about 14 years and it is now time to re-visit my island. BUt I'm coming back here as soon I'm back in THe Netherlands.. Here a Jellow Submarine button.
Zemackis who is looking to do the new Yellow Submarine, is the one who did "The Polar Express". If you notice the nerdy kid on the train is the same nerdy kid in "I Want To Hold Your Hand". Wonder if they will have the nerdy kid in Yellow Submarine? I like Polar Express but the animation was very stiff. I hope that it will be more fluid in Yellow Sub...the technology is improving all the time. Podgie (I hope they do it in 3d also for the Omni Theatres) Monkey

This is the first I've heard of Disney remaking Yellow Submarine. Why bother? Yellow Sub is such a classic already. If they do remake it, it is going to have to be spectacular. Talk about pressure lol!

That is the state of Hollywood...no originality anymore. Everything is remakes. They aren't even bothering to rename them with numbers or something to differentiate them from the original, I see "Final Destination" coming out again! Egad! There is just no creativity and originality in Hollywood. It will be interesting to see what Zemackis does with Yellow Sub. I think with Rockband and the remastered digital music coming out, plus Paul's shows, there will be a resurgence of interest in The Beatles, mostly by the younger generation. They will generate a fortune off tie-ins with the interest. Podgie (just thinking what I could do with a 10Million Dollar budget..The "Podgie Movie" could be a new Classic!) Monkey

Thank you Debbie. It is very nice to see that you are the first one who did react on my great news. Yes, this trip is a long wised thing of me. I do live in The Netherlands for a very long time, but my roots lies on that tiny island in the Caribean sea, Aruba. It is a come back home to me in a way. The Netherlands is great for me too. Debbie again, thank you very much. (sorry to Podgie for this interuption)

paul is going to spend two weeks at the isolated scientific studies building set up at the north pole to garner inspiration for his planned the world's best original christmas music album. asmight be imagined, there's a mad rush of ladies trying to get into the exclusive elite north pole site at the same time as macc will be there. santa will invite him over, to watch all the elves' festive preparations for the most beloved and fun of all holidays. all the songs will be in the same gorgeous vein as 'dance till you're high' with a new age otherworldly far away ambient electronica quality as only he and fireman can make it sound-- as though emanating from the highest heavenly realm of nirvana... and the lyrics will be like poetry as on 'electric arguments,' especially. don't expect anything cheese ball and corny.

macca has booked a seat on the maiden voyage of the 'virgin' space shuttle commissioned by richard branson. many of paul's fans don't want him to go up there, but as usual, he will forge on ahead with his habitual courage and determination. his life is charmed yet again and blessed with a successful space adventure, resulting in another enchanting spiritual and ethereal --yet sometimes charmingly earthy-- 'electric arguments' style album
