Exciting New peradventures of James Paul McCartney...

Aaahhh! My fave guy and my fave Christmas movie! Nice! (I believe...)

This is great, thanks Podge! I agree it's a shame for threads like this to get lost over time. I'd love to see a blog area right on the site (maybe when the cloud server is running?)

I suppose a kid could get confused about, why there are so many Paul McCartney's in the world. Seems they are everywhere! Podgie (...but we all know there is only ONE original!) Monkey

I'm thinkin' that maybe we should all bring signs to the Apollo Theatre that say: "I believe in Miracles!...Please Play "No More Lonely Nights"! Or words to that effect. How cool would that be! Podgie (Do it for Susan!) Monkey

One thing I found interesting...in the original trailer for "Miracle on 34th Street", they called the movie "Groovey"! I always thought that expression was from the 1960s hippy movement time. Looks like it goes back alot further than that, at least 1946. Also the original movie was released in the summer! Bizarre, huh? The catch was that there was no scenes or information on the movie, leaving people to just wonder from the title what "The Miracle" was. Great advertising. Wouldn't work today though, with the internet, everyone would know even before the movie was released what it was about. BTW the movie was a hit, top movie for six months! Some may have wondered at the translation here: Paul: "I used to play in the Reeperbahn" Little 'Don't Understand English' Girl: "Watch your hands, Buster!" I used one of those on-line translators, don't know if the words came out the way they were intended or not. Podgie (Sinterklaas) Monkey

Podgie, Sinterklaas is dutch. But I do find it funny to see this. Online translators are not perect but funny to read.
