Wow! "The Scream" just sold for something like $330 Million Dollars at auction! Is that unbelievable? I don't even consider it that good a painting. Egad! Wonder how much this one would go for?... I call it..."Oh No! Here come the Screaming Fans!" I think it is a classic too. It is one of four versions also. Podgie (Thank you very Munch) Monkey
oh man.. crackin up.... saw about this on Today show $120 mill for a painting? your's much better I thought it was $120 million?
An unbelievable price. Plus it wasn't even unique, it was one of four which sold, and wasn't one of the oil paintings, it was pastel on cardboard! Just need to sell one of mine, and I will be set for life. Podgie (Crayola on Manila Paper) Monkey
your brilliant... if this would have been done on etch-a-sketch t

how are you Podgie?

Hey, with this Queen's Jubilee coming up and the Olympics in London, don't you think it is a great time for the Queen to call her knights together! They are suppose to be on her becken call. They are at her service, aren't they? That's what I thought the knighthood was all about. Get them all together, and send them out on a mission! Like The Holy Grail! I'm picturing hide an item somewhere in the UK, and send them out on a bus to find it. Give them clues, and maps. A Royal Treasure Hunt! Oh yeah, film it too, and make it into a movie. Even if the film isn't that good, the soundtrack will be awesome! A mission for their Queen and their country! If it takes off...it could even become a regular reality series. Podgie (always thinkin') Monkey

I like this...The Great Race only with celebrity knights!

Wow...what a round table! Would be nice to have dinner & a beer at that table with all of them! Maybe the next contest can pull that off?

Just wonderin' if she called them together around the table to discuss the Jubilee Concert? Podgie (What good is being in charge if you can't rally your Knights?) Monkey

It is funny, I have a lot of creative ideas and parodies that would be great. I keep thinking "Podgie, do some more", but this place has become a Ghost Town. I feel I would be wasting my time. Where is everyone? This place is just hanging out there in cyberspace, a lost world. There is no link from Paul McCartney's main website, noone seems to know we exist, many seem to have left. The new site doesn't seem to have anyplace to be creative, actually it is a bit of a let-down. Just when things at the box office seem to be picking up, and ripe for parody (The Avengers with Paul and his band come to mind), I just think I would be wasting my time here. Anyone else feel the same way? Podgie (lots of ideas...but no great outlet) Monkey

I've been waiting to see what you come up with for paul's big 7-0. Yeah, I wish they'd at least link to the message board from the main site so new people can find us. but my nice guess is that right now, one has to create a separate account for the board and they wanted to link it all into one (and we know when that happens, there will be bugs)
-
We'd still welcome them here Podgie. The end results of your imagination is always fun to view. Post em here! Who cares if some have left? We are here!

Well, the Olympic Opening Ceremonies are over! No real surprises by Paul. "Hey Jude" again. You know the argument has always been, "I have to do it, there is someone out there seeing it for the first time!". Well, now how many billion have seen it, according to the media? I say drop it from the setlist, and replace it with "Beautiful Night!" ...but that's just me sayin. It was great seeing Paul, even if I have seen the song a gazillion times...done the same way. You know, I liked Stella's jacket, well at least the color and the olympic ring button on the cuffs. Only criticism I had was "Where are the fasteners in the front?" Cricky Paul, keep your arms down! The gap in the front was a bit annoying. At least if Stella had him wear a Union Jack t-shirt, I would have thought..."Wow! Brilliant Gap idea!" Without a design to open up to, my only thoughts were "Paul, keep your arms down!" Photo much bigger - more detail - click here! Apart from the gap. I did like the jacket, and it was great seeing Paul. Podgie (Great buttons!) Monkey

Seeing the Queen looking unhappy at times. I couldn't help but wondering what she was thinking...maybe... Podgie (Mind The Gap) Monkey

Or possibly... Podgie (What was she thinkin'?) Monkey
