Fantastic Birmingham show but wished I had not got in my seat at 6pm as the show started at 8-15! Also people in my lower block 2 stood from the first song which is great if you don't have severe arthritis and fibromyalgia. Great set and all in tune, wish they'd make a DVD of this night!! Vigman

I was on the floor and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the Birmingham audience. A lot of them stood up for nearly the whole concert and several people (not only on the floor, but in all sections) were singing and dancing. Paul was quite happy as well and made many funny remarks. Merchandise was rather expensive. Program: £20, t-shirts £25-£35. There was a nice poster for £5, though. I also need to thank Customer Service, as they upgraded my ticket to the floor section.

connection issues long story short but can finally log in. Birmingham show was great fun. Set list same as London O2 Night 1. Happy to have Can't Buy Me Love back in the set after how many years?? Loved hearing Temporary Secretary!! and Another Girl, always on my Beatles song bucket list for him to do one day. Nobody got called on stage during the show or during soundcheck. I don't have the whole list for soundcheck and my memory is not good enough to remember them all but highlights for me: he did Leaning on a Lampost, Hope of Deliverance (by request!!! it was brilliant), One After 909, and most of the other usual songs.

Great gig - loved every minute and can't believe his stamina! We had tickets right near the back, but got moved to the front row dead centre - felt like we were in a movie - this sort of stuff never happens to us!!!

I was praying for Hope Of Deliverance and it was my "loudmouthed lout" of a mate Phil who had the guts to yell out a request for it, seconded by Anita. Phil and I were singing along and Chris came up to us and filmed us so who knows when we shall see that footage!

Front row centre is saved for upgrades; at every show, MPL or SloTix (or somebody like that) go and get some fans in far-away seats and move them up into the front row. I have seen the happy people who have been upgraded and most of them can't believe it. Congratulations to db7even on being moved up!

awww well done - you sound a like a proper fan (ie know solo stuff!) i'm so pleased for you!!! the people who got front row centre in liverpool tho... not fans. A family of 5, one woman thought she could sit back down again after she'd clapped him on, and the daughters boyfriend spent all night looking bored, drinking, and going to the bar. He spent helter skelter bolt still and not moving. Paul stared him out! We had 2nd row middle (yaaaaay!) so i noticed all this! And i noticed first night london the front row middle were pretty much all 20 year old skimpy dressed women taking selfies of themselves with paul (with lager in the other hand) and going to the bar! And 2nd night london a young couple on the end of the front row middle block sat down the whole show... now if they were unwell that's different, but cmon guys!!! I had a blast in my seats, so this isn't a rant based on jealousy i promise! Just annoyed at the way some people are

It was so special. I'm a die hard beatles fan and paul's solo stuff is great, reminding me of my childhood. I can assure you I got fully involved, sang pretty much every word (badly!) and as a 20 yr gig goer and beatles nut appreciated this for the once in lifetime opportunity it was. I was discussing with my wife on the way there some of the songs I'd love to hear, but didn't expect, e.g. here today, maybe I'm amazed, HS etc. The fact he played all of them added to the surreal feeling of the whole day.

^ Aww i'm so happy for you! Nothing beats a Paul gig does it! The Birm crowd were certainly fantastic, much better than liverpool imo.

I thought I recognized you, were you with the same person that was with you in Manchester? I tried to catch up to say hello at the end of the concert but nobody was moving either way in my row.
-
^hiya! Yeah that was me with my sister, we did the 4 gigs Was it liverpool you saw us? If so yeah it was hard getting out - and the venue staff were so rude! Had a sweeping brush up our backsides practically trying to push everyone out of the rows as soon as lights up! Plus, and i kid you not, a staff member knocked on the loo door after liverpool to get me to hurry up so they could close - i kid you not!! I wouldn't mind but when i came out there was still about 10 other women still in loos! I really hate that arena... But i love Paul - the gig was fantastic!!!! I should have spotted you, i'm in a world of my own after a gig though!
